dc.description.abstractEn los últimos años, las universidades en Colombia han concentrado gran parte de sus esfuerzos en el establecimiento y funcionamiento de sistemas de investigación, sin embargo, muchos de sus mecanismos parecieran no tener mayor influencia en algunas áreas del conocimiento. Tal es el caso de la actividad en investigación en el campo de la Música y en general de las Bellas Artes, en donde se presentan bajos índices de investigación comparados con otras áreas. Dada esta problemática, surge la necesidad de indagar por los factores que conducen a los profesores universitarios de música a la actividad investigativa, partiendo de la comprensión de las dinámicas propias del campo de conocimiento de las artes. Con el fin de reconocer los factores que contribuyen a la inclinación de los docentes de música por las actividades de investigación se recurrió a una metodología de corte cuantitativocualitativo, para lo cual, en el marco del proyecto macro, se elaboró un cuestionario y un guion de entrevista semiestructurada. La información y el análisis que se presentan a continuación ivos a la producción académica de Escuela de Artes, y Economía y Administración.
