dc.description.abstractenglish | This degree project is framed in the problem of the absence of an offer of goods and services that favors the transition from fossil fuels to alternative energies, as well as the massification of non-polluting means of transport. This is how the lack of an infrastructure for recharging electric vehicles, compared to the existence of users, opens the way to the design of an auxiliary system that transforms solar energy into electrical energy through photovoltaic technology in open parking areas. Therefore, a proposal was formulated and executed from the design for the consolidation of the electrification of means of transport in Colombia. Through the "Design Thinking" methodology, the proposal focused on the needs of electric motorcycle owners. The methodology is divided into three phases, the first consists of empathizing and defining, the second is devising and prototyping, and finally, the third phase is validation and verification, which leads to the design solution. The final solution to the auxiliary system of partial load by solar energy consists of three semi-flexible monocrystalline panels of 180 watts, a 1000 Watts Inverter and a 150Ah backup battery. This system is implemented on a structural base in steel tubing cemented to the ground, which integrates the connection interface and a flexible cover. The implementation of the system demonstrated the feasibility of using solar energy as a means of charging for electric motorcycles and mopeds. The validation results demonstrate ease of use and an acceptable perception of comfort. The performance of the system is verified through simulation and experimental results.
