dc.description.abstractEste articulo contiene los hallazgos de la investigación realizada sobre la resignificación del concepto de Masculinidades Hegemónicas, a fin de brindar un mayor nivel de comprensión sobre la complejidad que rodea al tema. El ejercicio se realizó bajo la metodología de seminario de investigación que implicó indagaciones teóricas, además de sesiones de reflexión y debate del grupo participante, que permitieron analizar de forma interpretativa y crítica los planteamientos expuestos por diversos autores del llamado posmodernismo y, más específicamente, de la sociedad colombiana del siglo XXI. Dentro de los principales hallazgos se indica la evolución que ha registrado la noción de masculinidad, la emergencia de conceptos y nuevas formas de representación. También, la necesidad de profundizar en torno a la relación de los hombres con el poder, institucional e interpersonal; estudios sobre la producción y negociación de las masculinidades en distintos contextos y las implicaciones de las diferencias sexuales, entre otros.
dc.description.abstractenglishThis article summarizes the findings of the research conducted on the resignification of the concept of Hegemonic Masculinities, in order to provide a greater level of understanding of the complexity surrounding the subject. The exercise was carried out under the methodology of a research seminar that implied theoretical inquiries, as well as reflection and debate sessions of the participating group, which allowed to analyze in an interpretative and critical way the approaches exposed by several authors of the so-called postmodernism and, more specifically, of the Colombian society of the XXI century. Among the main findings were the evolution of the notion of masculinity, the emergence of concepts and new forms of representation. Also, the need to delve deeper into the relationship of men with institutional and interpersonal power; studies on the production and negotiation of masculinities in different contexts and the implications of sexual differences, among others.
