dc.description.abstractEste trabajo fue elaborado como resultado del informe presentado por el grupo de investigación del Archivo Oral de Memoria de las Víctimas de la Universidad Industrial de Santander y el Movimiento Nacional de Víctimas de Crímenes de Estado, ante el Sistema Integral de Verdad, Justicia, Reparación y No repetición, a partir de la información recolecta a víctimas. Este documento contempla la participación de cinco víctimas del conflicto armado que vivieron diversos hechos victimizantes, principalmente persecución política, homicidio y desplazamiento forzado. Las vidas de las víctimas no solo convergen en el hecho de haber padecido violaciones a sus derechos, sino que como consecuencia de esto tuvieron que desplazarse a la ciudad de Bucaramanga. Con el fin de entender la complejidad de las situaciones vividas por las víctimas, este informe no solo presenta las trayectorias de vida sino que les antecede un análisis categorial y contexto histórico regional de la violencia en Santander, Norte de Santander y Sur de Cesar que sitúa las particularidades de la violencia padecida por cada uno de los testimonios participantes en estos territorios, permitiendo una comprensión que ayude a la construcción de una memoria histórica razonada desde la inclusión de las víctimas.
dc.description.abstractenglishThis project was developed as a result of the report presented by the research group of the Oral Archive of the Memory of the Victims at the Industrial University of Santander and the National Movement of Victims of State Crimes, before the Integral System of Truth, Justice, Reparation, and Non-repetition. The present paper is developed based on the victims’ information collected in the mentioned report, which includes the participation of five victims of the armed conflict. These individuals were interviewed in order to construct five life trajectories in which various victimizing events were evidenced, primarily crimes of political persecution, homicide, and forced displacement. The lives of the victims not only converge in the fact that they suffered violations of their rights, but as a consequence, they ultimately sought permanent refuge in the city of Bucaramanga. To understand the complexity of the situations experienced by the victims, this report not only presents the life trajectories of the victims but also includes a categorical analysis and a regional historical context of the violence in Santander, Norte de Santander, and southern Cesar. which situates the particularities of the violence experienced by each of the testimonies in these territories. This approach allows the positioning of these events within a specific temporal and geographical framework, contributing to a more complete understanding of history. This work acknowledges the importance of knowing, understanding, and disseminating the narratives of the victims. It is only through a genuine understanding of the conflict can we propose guarantees for the non-repetition of these events.
