dc.description.abstractEn la ciudad de Bucaramanga el transporte informal ha crecido significativamente en los últimos años, uno de los factores que ha influenciado este crecimiento ha sido la deficiente planeación del transporte público colectivo y del sistema de transporte masivo, la cual no satisface las necesidades de los usuarios, permitiendo así la implementación de nuevas modalidades no autorizadas para ofrecer servicio de transporte como una solución al problema de movilización de los habitantes. Esta no es solo una solución para mejorar la movilidad de la ciudad, sino que también es un negocio y una fuente de empleo informal que parece rentable para quienes ofrecen este servicio. Con base en la información previamente mencionada, en este proyecto se determinaron los costos de operación por kilómetro recorrido mediante la obtención de los costos variables, fijos y de capital y las utilidades que genera la informalidad en la ciudad de Bucaramanga. Los resultados obtenidos muestran que a pesar que realizan el mismo tipo de servicio, los costos de operación de los vehículos informales son menores en comparación con los vehículos que ofrecen servicio de transporte público autorizado, generando mayores utilidades para quienes ofrecen la modalidad informal, afectando directamente el sistema de transporte público colectivo, sistema integrado de transporte masivo y el sistema de transporte publico individual en la ciudad de Bucaramanga.
dc.description.abstractenglishIn the last years, the informal transportation in Bucaramanga has grown significantly. One of the factors that have influenced this growth has been the deficient planning of collective public transportation and massive transportation system, which do not fthat are not authorized to offer the transportation service as a solution for the mobility obility but it is also a business and an informal employment source that seems profitable for those who offer this service. Based on the information previously mentioned, in this project it was determined the operating costs per kilometer through the collection of the variable, fixed and capital costs, and the utilities that generates this informality problem In Bucaramanga. The results obtained show that despite the fact that they realize the same service, the operating costs of the informal vehicles are less in comparison to the vehicles that offer the public authorized transportation service, thus generating higher utilities for those who offer the informal modality, directly affecting the collective public transportation, the integrated mass transportation and the individual public transportation system in Bucaramanga.
