dc.description.abstractLa Artritis reumatoide es una enfermedad que causa hinchazón, inflamación y dolor debido al desgaste de las articulaciones que se ven comprometidas, a medida que avanza la enfermedad se pierde el balance, la estabilidad y la fuerza de agarre lo que causa dificultad en la realización de cualquier actividad incluyendo las actividades que son comunes a todos los seres humanos y que se deben realizar regularmente para mantener la independencia del individuo en su medio normal. “GITAP” (iniciales de girar y tapa) es un objeto de apoyo diseñado para personas con Artritis Reumatoide (AR) que permite realizar una tarea cotidiana, destapar envases de tapa roscada con determinados diámetros. El modelo funcional soporta esta actividad mediante una forma cónica con tres láminas salientes ubicadas entre sí a 120 grados que ayudan a girar la tapa. Está compuesto de cuatro piezas que en conjunto permiten un agarre pentadigital palmar que se ajusta a las necesidades y restricciones de movimiento de estas personas. El propósito de este proyecto es que las personas con AR puedan destapar con autonomía e independencia envases de tapa roscada y que durante la realización de esta tarea mantengan las articulaciones activas y en las posiciones adecuadas para evitar el deterioro del tejido muscular y el desgaste articular. Pretende ser, desde el diseño industrial, un aporte a la calidad de vida de las personas que padecen AR una enfermedad que afecta las articulaciones y por consiguiente la movilidad del individuo.
dc.description.abstractenglishRheumatoid arthritis is a disease that causes swelling, inflammation and pain due to wear of the joints that are compromised. As the disease progresses it shows loss of balance stability and grip strength causing difficulty in conducting any activity including activities that are common to all human beings, activities meant to be performed regularly to maintain the independence of the individual in their normal environment. "GITAP" refers to spanish initials spin (girar) and cap (tapa) is an object designed to support people with rheumatoid arthritis (RA) that allows an everyday task, open screw cap containers with certain diameters. The functional model supports this activity through a conical shape and three sheets, these helps to rotate the lid consists of a four pieces that allows pentadigital palmar grip which fits the needs and restrictions of RA patients movements. This project's purpose is to enable people with RA to open autonomous and independently screwed cap containers and keep active joints and in the right positions during the performance of this task to prevent muscle tissue deterioration and joint wear. Intended to be, from industrial design, a contribution to the quality of life of people with RA disease that affects the joints and therefore the individual mobility
