dc.description.abstractEl presente proyecto evalúa los procesos logísticos de Comertex S.A. de una manera integrada, caracterizándolos detalladamente y estableciendo las interrelaciones existentes, así como el flujo de información entre y al interior de ellos. Los procesos logísticos objeto de estudio comprenden toda la cadena de suministro, iniciando en el aprovisionamiento, almacenamiento y distribución hasta culminar en el proceso de devolución. El análisis de los procesos se efectúa bajo la observación de cada uno de ellos de manera independiente, para posteriormente construir el Macro Proceso Logístico, de donde se detectan los elementos críticos asociados a cada proceso y aquellos que afectan transversalmente a la organización. Una vez identificados los elementos susceptibles de mejora se realiza el respectivo análisis de causas, para encontrar las causas específicas que generan los problemas y así efectuar hipótesis sobre el efecto que éstas tienen en la operación normal de la empresa. Con el fin de cuantificar el impacto de todos los problemas encontrados, se elabora la evaluación de los procesos logísticos por medio de una medición de ocurrencias de las causas. Finalmente se plantean propuestas de mejora soportadas en la planeación estratégica de la empresa, que tienen el propósito de brindar una solución estructural a los problemas de la compañía y cuya implementación será llevada a cabo en futuros proyectos que se realizarán conjuntamente con la Universidad Industrial de Santander.
dc.description.abstractenglishThis project evaluates the logistics processes in an integrated way. It provides a detailed characterization of them establishing their current interrelationships and the flow of information between and within them. The logistic processes object of study understands the whole chain of supply, initiating in the supply, storage and distribution, culminating in the process of return.The analysis of the processes is performed under the observation of each one of them in an independent way, later to construct the Macro Logistic Process, wherefrom there are detected the critical elements associated with every process and those that affect transversely the organization.Once identified the elements capable of improvement the respective analysis of causes is performed, to find the specific causes that generate the problems and this way to make hypothesis about the effect that these have on the normal operation of the company. In orderto quantifythe impact of allthe problems encountered, there is elaborated the evaluation of the logistic processes using a measure of occurrences of the causes. Finally, multiple improvement plans are proposed supported on the company’s strategic planning, which have the intention of offering a structural solution to the problems of the company and will be implemented in future projects to be undertaken jointly with the Universidad Industrial de Santander.
