dc.description.abstractLas cámaras de comercio en Colombia fueron creadas con el firme propósito de contribuir al fortalecimiento empresarial de cada territorio en particular, dando un uso coherente a los recursos recibidos y en concordancia con sus objetivos, crean diferentes tipos de iniciativas enfocadas al desarrollar organizacional de la región. Es por esto y con el fin de generar beneficios sociales, que se identificó la necesidad de mejorar la gestión en proyectos de dichas Entidades encargadas de manejar dineros del erario público. En el presente trabajo de aplicación, se desarrolla una personalización del modelo de madurez en gestión organizacional de proyectos OPM3® versión 3 a la Unidad de Desarrollo empresarial de la Cámara de Comercio de Bucaramanga, con el fin de obtener los beneficios que han conseguido las diferentes organizaciones que han implementado dicho modelo, además de establecer un proceso de mejora continua que impulsa el desarrollo empresarial y la consolidación de estrategias efectivas para la gestión de proyectos. Para esto, se empieza con la recopilación de información dentro de la organización, revisando sus activos organizacionales, su misión, visión, estrategia, procesos e indicadores, también se analiza la estructura empresarial y modelo de gobierno. La siguiente etapa corresponde a la aplicación de la prueba, donde se escoge la muestra representativa que va a responder las preguntas, se seleccionan las preguntas, se aplica la prueba y para el caso puntual de este trabajo, se representa el resultado en la escala de Kerzner con el fin de obtener el grado de madurez que puede ser utilizado como parámetro de comparación con empresas referentes en el tema. Por último, se plantean 7 iniciativas de mejoras que al ser implementadas, propenden por el aumento del nivel de madurez en gestión de proyectos y por ende, buscan obtener los beneficios identificados. 1
dc.description.abstractenglishThe chambers of commerce in Colombia were created with the purpose of contributing to the entrepreneurial strengthening of each territory in particular, giving a coherent use to the resources received and in accordance with their objectives, creating different types of initiatives focused on the organizational development of the region . That is why, in order to generate social benefits, was identified the need to improve the project management of these organizations in charge of managing public money. In this application work, is developed a customization of the organizational project management maturity model - OPM3® 3rd version to the Business Development Unit of the Chamber of Commerce of Bucaramanga, in order to obtain the benefits that the different organizations that have implemented this model have achieved, as well as establishing a process of continuous improvement that drives business development and the consolidation of effective strategies for project management. For this, it begins with the elicitation of the information within the organization, reviewing its organizational assets, its mission, vision, strategy, processes and indicators, also analyzing the organizational structure and governance model. The next stage corresponds to the application of the test, where the representative sample that will answer the questions is chosen, the questions are selected, the test is applied and for the specific case of this work, the result is represented on the Kerzner maturity level that can be used as a benchmark parameter with leading companies in the field. Finally, there are seven improvement initiatives that, when implemented, tend to increase the maturity level in project management and, therefore, seek to obtain the identified benefits. 3
