dc.description.abstractLa presente investigación muestra la aplicación del modelo hidrológico conceptual NAM en la cuenca del Río de Oro, ubicada en la parte nor-oriental del departamento de Santander con un área aproximada de 580 Km2. Nedbor Aftromings Model (NAM), es un modelo de precipitación Œ escorrentía que utiliza una entrada moderada de datos que consta de series de tiempo de precipitación, evapotranspiración potencial (ETpot) y caudales, en el estudio se utilizaron series históricas del periodo 2002 - 2004. El modelo se aplicó, calibró y validó a nivel de cuenca y subcuencas, el cual representó adecuadamente las mediciones de los caudales mínimos y caudales promedios, el tiempo al pico de los hidrogramas y la curva de recesion de los mismos, pero mostró fallas con los registros de caudales máximos cuando se presentaron fuertes eventos de precipitación, además, se obtuvieron coeficientes de ajuste Nash-Sutcliffe entre 0.16 y 0.41. El presente informe contiene la información de las estaciones y las variables hidroclimaticas utilizadas para la el calculo de las series de tiempo, se muestra la metodología de la ASCE y la FAO seguida para el calculo de la ETpot, la estructura y funcionamiento del modelo y los resultados obtenidos de la calibración y validación del modelo.
dc.description.abstractenglishThe present investigation shows the application of the conceptual hydrological model NAM in Rio de Oro basin, located in the nor-east part of the department of Santander with an approximate area of 580 Km2. Nedbor Aftromings Model (NAM), it is a rainfall Πrunoff model that uses a moderate entrance of data that consists of rainfall time series, potential evapotranspiration (ETpot) and flows, in the study the historical series of the period 2002 - 2004 were used. The model was applied, calibrated and validated to basin and sub-basins level, which represented the mensurations of the minimum flows and flows averages appropriately, the time to the pick of the hydrogram and the curve of recession of the same ones, but it showed failure with the registrations of maximum flows when strong precipitation events were presented, also, the adjusting coefficients NashSutcliffe was obtained between 0.16 and 0.41. The report contains the information of the stations and the hydroclimatics variables utilized for calculate of the time series, it is shown the methodology of the followed ASCE and FAO for calculate of the ETpot, the structure and operation of the model and the obtained results of the calibration and validation of the model.
