dc.description.abstractEl estudio de la tierra a través de la compra Œ venta en una zona determinada, resulta necesario en la reconstrucción de la historia de una ciudad y en el constante proceso dinámico de formación de sus centros y contornos. El propósito general de la investigación es estudiar la dinámica de la compra - venta de tierra en Girón durante el periodo de 1886 Œ 1905, mediante la identificación y explicación de: las tendencias presentes en la misma, la movilidad de ciertas áreas y la relación de compradores y vendedores con este bien inmueble. Todo contextualizado dentro de tres de los sucesos que marcaron la Historia de Colombia, los cuales estuvieron relacionados el uno con el otro, y en los que el territorio de Santander jugó un papel importante. El primero de ellos es el inicio del proyecto político conservador de la Regeneración, la crisis cafetera de finales del siglo XIX y la Guerra de los mil días. La investigación se dividió en tres capítulos, el objetivo del primer capitulo fue identificar las zonas de Girón que presentaron mayor movilidad de tierras durante el periodo de 1886 Œ 1905 tanto en el área rural como urbana y determinar las posibles causas de dicha movilidad El segundo capitulo tiene como objetivo el análisis de las compraventas de tierras, teniendo en cuenta las tendencias de precios, tamaños, sitios de movilidad y usos de este bien inmueble a lo largo del periodo a estudiar. El tercer y ultimo capitulo tiene como objetivo identificar los principales compradores y vendedores dentro de la dinámica de las compra Œ ventas de tierra rural y urbana en Girón entre 1886 Œ 1905, así como la importancia social y económica de los mismos.
dc.description.abstractenglishThe study of land through the buying - selling in a specific area is necessary to reconstruct a city™s history and the dynamic process of constant training centers and contours. The research™s general purpose is to study the dynamics of the buying - selling of land in Girón between 1886 and 1905, through the identification and explanation of: its tendencies, the mobility of certain areas and the relation of buyers and sellers with the land. Everything was contextualized in three of the most important events in Colombia™s history, which were related to each other. In these events Santander™s territory played an important role. The first event was the beginning of the conservative political project of Regeneration, the coffee crisis in XIX century ending and the Thousand Days™s War. The investigation was divided in three chapters; the goal of the first chapter was to identify rural and urban Girón areas that showed the highest mobility of land between 1886 and 1905 to determine its possible causes. The second chapter™s objective is the analysis of buying - selling lands, based in the trends of prices, sizes, mobility sites and use of land in the studied period. The last chapter™s goal is to identify the main buyers and seller in the buying Œ selling urban and rural land dynamics in Girón between 1886 and 1905, as well as its social and economic importance
