| dc.description.abstract | Manipulación de algunas imágenes, acerca de la violencia, que por su uso repetitivo en los mediosde comunicación, pasan inadvertidas; proceso de transformación que busca que la imagencumplan la función para lo cual fue creada: comunicar. En nuestro entorno, el acontecer diario se ve saturado con todo tipo de informaciones, floreciendolas más difundidas, aquellas llamadas amarillistas, las de la vida social, las de política, y las dediferentes formas de violencia; y por la reiterativa exposición a estas informaciones, llega unmomento en que éstas pasan inadvertidas, disimulando de la memoria lo que ocurrió ayer, lo quese ve a diario para digerir el presente inmediato, siendo éste el único medio de defensa quealimenta al individualismo y que nos protege del desorden reinante. Con procesos de transformación de la imagen que aparece en los medios masivos de comunicaciónse lleva a que se retome su real significado, se generen procesos de creación, y se lleguen a activarlos estados de pensamiento y opinión, posibilitando situar los argumentos a partir de los cuales untrabajo plástico puede aportar algo a la conciencia colectiva; lejos de pretender transformacionesradicales, el presente trabajo actúa como un dispositivo que provoca, instiga, señala, activa lamemoria y alerta el sentido de pertenencia de una comunidad. | |
| dc.description.abstractenglish | Manipulation of some images about violence that for their repetitive use in the media, they becomeunseen; transformation process that seeks that the image complies the function for which it wascreated: to communicate. In our environment, daily events saturate us with all type of information, flourishing those that aremost diffused: those called “amarillistas’, those of the social life, those of politics, and thoseregarding different ways of violence; because of the reiterative exposure to these information,these images become unseen, erasing from the memory of what happened yesterday, what yousee daily -to digest the immediate present, is the only resource that feeds individualism and protectsus of the reining chaos. With processes of artistic transformation of the image that appears in the massive means ofcommunication, their real meaning is recaptured, creative processes are generated, and states ofmind and attitude, are activated, facilitating to locate arguments starting from which a plastic workcan contribute in some way to build a collective conscience; Far from seeking radicaltransformations, the present work acts as a device that provokes, instigates, points out, activatesmemory and puts on guard the sense of ownership in a community. | |
