dc.description.abstractEn el presente documento se formula una estructura que permita a extractora monterrey s.a. contar con una herramienta útil para calcular los costos generados por la unidad principal de negocio; la producción de aceite de palma africana. Monterrey s.a. cuenta con las oficinas administrativas en Bucaramanga-Santander S.A y sus instalaciones operativas en Puerto Wilches-Santander. Por lo tanto, este proyecto facilita la toma de decisiones financieras, administrativas y operativas mediante la indagación, profundización y organización de la información importante del proceso productivo permitiendo sacar el máximo provecho a las ventajas competitivas; identificando ineficiencias en la producción con el objetivo de optimizar los procesos, reducir los costos y de uno u otro modo aumentar la utilidad del producto. A continuación, se expone de forma superficial los ítems relevantes en el diseño de un sistema de costos para la planta de aceite crudo de palma africana. En primera estancia, se realiza un diagnóstico inicial; recabando el estado actual de los costos mediante el apoyo de información detallada del proceso productivo. En la siguiente etapa se diseña el sistema de costos identificando las áreas de mayor incursión del costo, la distribución de cada una de las actividades y definición de los elementos del costo. Por último, se desarrolla la herramienta ofimática que brinda apoyo al cálculo de los costos bajo el sistema de costos propuesto.
dc.description.abstractenglishIn this document, it is formulated a structure that allows the extraction plant Monterrey S.A to count with a useful tool to calculate the costs generated by the main business unity; the African palm oil production. Monterrey S.A has their administrative offices in Bucaramanga- Santander S.A and their operational facilities in Wilches-Santander. Therefore, this project eases the financial, administrative and operational decision making through the enquiry, deepening and organization of the important information of the productive process, allowing to get the maximum benefit to the competitive advantages; identifying inefficiencies in the production, with the purpose of optimizing process, reducing costs and in one way or another increasing the product utility. Consecutively, the relevant items in the cost system design for the raw African palm extraction plant is presented superficially. In the first instance, an initial diagnostic is conducted; compiling the current status of the costs through the support of detailed information of the productive process. In the following stage, the costs system is designed by identifying the areas with the higher cost incursion, the distribution of each of the activities and cost elements definition. Finally, the ofimatic tool that provides support to the cost calculation under the cost system proposed is developed.
