dc.description.abstractLa presente Tesis de Grado se realizó por solicitud del Ingeniero Ricardo Díaz Jefe del Departamento de Producción SOR, a la Facultad de Ingeniería de Petróleos de la Universidad Industrial de Santander, en el mes de Diciembre de 2007. Para el desarrollo del trabajo funcionarios de la Coordinación de Subsuelo, Departamento de Ingeniería y Confiabilidad, solicitaron el acompañamiento y soporte técnico del ingeniero Heberth Ferneynes, consultor de amplia experiencia en el campo de las estimulaciones y de gran conocimiento sobre los trabajos de estimulación con disolventes en el campo Yariguí-Cantagallo, por haber sido promotor de la implementación inicial de los mismos. El objetivo principal de la tesis es el de realizar una evaluación a los trabajos de estimulación con disolventes realizados en el campo Yariguí-Cantagallo. Como a la fecha de la realización de este trabajo, tanto selección de pozos candidatos a estimular, técnicas de estimulación y realización de algunos de los programas de trabajo se habían realizado, nos concentraremos en el análisis y evaluación de cada una de las fases comprendidas en el proceso empleado en la estimulación de pozos productores en el campo Yariguí-Cantagallo. En esta tesis se describen aspectos históricos y geológicos del campo y se dan conceptos básicos relacionados con la teoría básica del daño de formación, posibles agentes del daño de formación en el campo Yariguí-Cantagallo, metodologías históricamente empleadas para la valoración y diagnóstico de pozos con daño de formación en el campo en mención, las técnicas de estimulación empleadas (Estimulación con disolvente y surfactante, fracturamiento hidráulico) y una evaluación de los resultados de los trabajos de estimulación.
dc.description.abstractenglishThe present graduate thesis was made by the request of the engineer Ricardo Diaz; SORProduction Department Chief for the Engineering faculty of the Universidad Industrial delSantander; in December of 2007. For the development of this project, the functionaries from thesubsoil coordination; the Department of Engineering and reliability, requested the monitoring andtechnical support from the engineer Heberth Ferneynes, who is a consultant of a wide experience inthe field of stimulations and great knowledge in the stimulation with solvents in the Yarigui Cantagallo oilfiled; he was the promoter of the initial implementation of the former. The main objective of the thesis is to evaluate the stimulation works with solvents made in the Yarigui Cantagallo oilfield. Due to the given date for the completion of this work, the selection of the candidate wells to bestimulated, the stimulation techniques and the completing of some of the work projects that hadbeen already done, we will focus in the analysis and evaluation of each one of the phases comprehended in the process of producing wells stimulation in the Yarigui Cantagallo oilfield. In this thesis some geological and historical aspects are described; as some basic concepts relatedto the basic theory of formation damage and possible damage agents in the Yarigui Cantagallooilfield formation. It also includes historically used methodologies to value and diagnose thedamaged wells in the oilfield, as well as stimulation techniques used (Stimulation with solvent y surfactant, hydraulical fracturing) and the evaluation of the results from the stimulation work
