dc.description.abstractLa actual investigación está enfocada en analizar la informalidad laboral en la ciudad de Bucaramanga, durante un periodo específico (2012 a 2019) y referente a una población específica, a saber, los vendedores ambulantes del casco urbano de la capital del departamento de Santander. Para ello se toman en cuenta las teorías del estructuralismo e institucionalismo, la teoría clásica y las teorías de los mercados segmentados y enfoques de la informalidad. Por esta razón, el objetivo general consiste en realizar un análisis de las acciones gubernamentales realizadas entre 2012 y 2019 para contrarrestar la informalidad laboral en el casco urbano del municipio de Bucaramanga. Para llevar a cabo la investigación se recurre a una metodología cualitativa, pero los análisis se realizan de forma mixta ya que, a partir de estadísticas y datos gubernamentales, se llegan a interpretaciones y conclusiones. Por último, la investigación recopila diversas conclusiones que surgieron durante el proceso investigativo y de los resultados, pero se puede destacar la necesidad de idear e implementar planeaciones que logren integrar y armonizar los diferentes actores sociales (vendedores ambulantes, transeúntes, pobladores) con los espacios públicos, mediante mejoras en la arquitectura urbana que den preponderancia a la verticalidad urbanística.
dc.description.abstractenglishThe current research is focused on analyzing labor informality in the city of Bucaramanga, during a specific period (2012 to 2019) and referring to a specific population, namely, street vendors in the urban area of the capital of the department of Santander. For this purpose, the theories of structuralism and institutionalism, the classical theory and the theories of segmented markets and informality approaches are taken into account. For this reason, the general objective is to conduct an analysis of the governmental actions carried out between 2012 and 2019 to counteract labor informality in the urban area of the municipality of Bucaramanga. In order to carry out the research, a qualitative methodology is used, but the analyses are carried out in a mixed manner since, based on statistics and governmental data, interpretations and conclusions are reached. Finally, the research compiles various conclusions that emerged during the research process and from the results, but it is possible to highlight the need to devise and implement planning that manages to integrate and harmonize the different social actors (street vendors, pedestrians, residents) with public spaces, through improvements in urban architecture that give preponderance to urban verticality.
