dc.description.abstractEl sector Agropecuario y específicamente la línea de leche y derivados lácteos en Colombia está conformado por más de 480.000 productores de leche que generan aproximadamente unos 90.000 empleos (incluyendo el sector agropecuario y el agroindustrial), generando al año 3 billones de pesos, según datos del Consejo Nacional Lácteo. Con esta antesala es fácil hacerse una idea de la importancia del sector y de lo vital que resulta para la economía colombiana. Esta percepción se confirma al ser uno de los temas incluidos en la mesa de negociación del Tratado de Libre Comercio entre Colombia y Estados Unidos. El impacto del TLC sobre la agricultura colombiana será una ampliación de lo ocurrido en la primera etapa de liberalización del comercio. El TLC lleva ese proceso a límites extremos. Por consiguiente, lo esperado es el incremento de la pobreza, el desempleo, la concentración mayor en la tenencia de la tierra, El sector agropecuario queda casi completamente desamparado. Este documento pretende convertirse en un instrumento de consulta que no sólo plasme las ideas y percepciones del autor sino que permita generar espacios de discusión en torno a la temática y a las conclusiones obtenidas sobre la misma. Este es sin duda un momento crucial en materia comercial para Colombia y para el sector agropecuario, y por ende para el subsector de leche y derivados lácteos, por lo que se debe enfrentar buscando aplicar la metodología idónea pero sobre todo buscando obtener los mayores beneficios posibles para la economía colombiana.
dc.description.abstractenglishThe Agricultural sector and specifically the line of milk and lacteal derivatives in Colombia is shaped by more than 480.000 producers of milk who generate approximately 90.000 employments (including the agricultural sector and the agroindustrial), generating per year 3 trillions of weight, according to information of the National Lacteal Council. With this anteroom it is easy to be done an idea of the importance of the sector and of the vital thing that proves for the Colombian economy. This perception confirms to the being one of the topics included in the table of negotiation of the Agreement of Free Trade between Colombia and The United States. The impact of the TLC on the Colombian agriculture will be an extension of the happened in the first stage of liberalization of the trade. The TLC takes this process to extreme limits. Consequently, the awaited thing is the increase of the poverty, the unemployment, the major concentration in the possession of the land, The agricultural sector remains almost completely helpless. This document tries to turn into an instrument of consultation that not only forms the ideas and perceptions of the author but it allows to generate spaces of discussion around the subject matter and the conclusions obtained on the same one. This is undoubtedly a crucial moment in commercial matter for Colombia and for the agricultural sector, and for the subsector of milk and lacteal derivatives, for what it is necessary to face seeking to apply the suitable methodology but especially seeking to obtain the major possible benefits for the Colombian economy.
