dc.description.abstractTrabajo de Grado que contempla el ejercicio de la práctica académica de Trabajo Social en la Comisaria de Familia de San Vicente de Chucuri (Santander) en el año 2006. El trabajo en la comisaria partió en identificar la problemática central de este Municipio en lo que se refiere a Familia, aspectos como el conflicto armado, el bajo nivel educativo, los altos niveles de pobreza y las dificultades económicas al igual que Padres y Madres que fueron maltratados en su niñez, dejaron como resultado el incremento en la violencia física y Psicológica contra la Infancia y la Mujer del área urbana y rural de este municipio. Trabajo social oriento la ejecución en la prevención de esa problemática; en tres aspectos fundamentales: Motivación, Capacitación y Seguimiento, la clave para llevarlos a cabo fue trabajar de la mano con las diversas formas de organización comunitaria, Redes Sociales, entes del Estado y algunos líderes. De igual forma Trabajo Social se convirtió en la herramienta que le permitió a la Comisaria de Familia, la constatación cotidiana de situaciones irregulares reportadas además de extender y efectuar acciones correctivas ante la Ley. Los principales protagonistas en la transformación de la realidad social en San Vicente, fueron los actores sociales, es decir fueron ellos los que frente a cada problemática, asumían como suya la responsabilidad de transformarlas.
dc.description.abstractenglishUndergraduate thesis that considers the developing of an academic experience in the family welfare agency of San Vicente de Chucurí during 2006. The work experience in the welfare agency had as it main goal the identification of the principals social and family problems of that municipality such as: armed conflict, low educational level, high level of poverty, financial problems. Also, the physical abuse suffered by most of the parents during their childhood that left, as a result the increase of the physical violence against the children and women in the rural and urban area. Social work focused its attention on the prevention of that problematic in three fundamental aspects: motivation, training and monitoring. The key to make them work was to work with different social organizations as: social networks, government organizations and some local leaders. Likewise, social work became the tool that allowed the welfare agency the ascertainment of everyday™s social irregular situations as well as the opportunity to extent and to impose some legal actions in order to prevent those social situations. The main protagonists during the transformation of the social reality in San Vicente, were the social actors; because they faced each problematic and took the responsibility of transform them.
