dc.description.abstractUn Panóptico es una estructura carcelaria que propone utilizar prisioneros como guardias. En el centro del sistema circular, hay un individuo que lo ve todo, todo el tiempo, o al menos da a los presos esa impresión de que pueden ser observados, regulados. El vigilante no es una persona, es una institución, y la libertad está controlada por el miedo y la autorregulación. La pieza audiovisual resultante de este proyecto, Panóptico 2.0: JFOR, es un ejercicio auto representativo que sigue la rutina del artista en el uso de las redes sociales y los dispositivos tecnológicos. Esta interacción tiene un costo de privacidad; donde el usuario es un vigilante y es vigilado al mismo tiempo por quienes controlan el sistema. Así como otros usuarios pueden leer y reaccionar en las redes sociales, los espectadores del video, que también representan ese rol regulador del panóptico, interactúan con el video publicado en las plataformas. Todo el texto utiliza la metáfora del conejo y la lechuza común para ilustrar la relación de poder que ha traído la era de la información. El panóptico digital llegó para quedarse, en esta propuesta solo se presenta la versión 2.0 en el capítulo JFOR. Ahora, el espectador decide el rol que desea asumir
dc.description.abstractenglishA Panopticon is a prison structure that proposes to use prisoners as guards. At the center of the circular system, there is an individual who sees everything, all the time, or at least gives that impression to the prisoners that they can be observed, regulated. The watchman is not a person, it is an institution, and freedom is controlled by fear and selfregulation. The audiovisual piece resulting from this project, Panopticon 2.0: JFOR, is a selfrepresentative exercise that follows the artist's routine in the use of social networks and technological devices. This interaction comes at the cost of privacy; where the user is a watchman and is watched at the same time by those who control the system. Just as other users can read and react on social networks, the viewers of the video, who also represent that regulatory role of the panopticon, interact with the video published on the platforms. The entire text uses the metaphor of the rabbit and the barn owl to illustrate the power relationship that the information age has brought. The digital panopticon is here to stay, in this proposal only version 2.0 is presented in the JFOR chapter. Now, the spectator chooses the role that is assumed
