dc.description.abstractEl gas natural se ha convertido en uno de los combustibles más usados a nivel mundial, ya se para su uso doméstico o para la generación de energía por medio de procesos en plantas térmicas. En la actualidad con los fenómenos climáticos como EL Niño las hidroeléctricas han perdido confiabilidad para responder a las grandes demandas de energía en el país, ante estos fenómenos la entrada de las plantas termoeléctricas debe asegurar el suministro de energía faltante, es así que ante la demanda de energía también viene con ella una demanda importante de gas natural, por esto es de importante la confiabilidad de tener el combustible disponible para entrar a funcionar las termoeléctricas, es aquí donde surge la necesidad de construir una planta de regasificación que permita importar GNL y regasificarlo para responder a esta demanda energética.A continuación, se realiza un estado del arte del proceso de regasificación del gas natural en Colombia, teniendo en cuenta las diferentes normativas internacionales para la construcción de plantas de regasificación, las tecnologías existentes para realizar la regasificación, las alternativas de transporte del GNL y la situación actual en Colombia.
dc.description.abstractenglishThe natural gas has become one of the most used for fuel around the world. Either for a domestic use or a generation of energy trough thermoelectric plants process. Nowadays, whit the climate change phenomenon, like el niño, hydroelectric has lost trustworthy to respond with the high demands of energy in the Country. In front of this phenomenons, the hydroelectrics must ensure the supply of missing energy. So that, in the face of energy demand, there is, also a significant demand for natural gas, which is why the reliability of having the fuel available to enter operate the thermoelectric plants. this is, where the need to arises to build a regasification plant that allows LNG to be imported and regasified to cover the energy demand. Next, it is performed an state of art in the regasification process of the natural gas in Colombia. Considering the international regulations to build regasification plants, the current technology for the process, GNL transport alternatives and the current situation of Colombia.
