dc.description.abstractenglish | The viola has undergone an important evolution from its appearance in the Renaissance to its development as a solo instrument in the 20th century. This is evident in the large amount of accompanying and chamber music repertoire for viola in the Baroque and Classical periods, and in the lack of solo repertoire until the beginning of the last century. The purpose of this degree project is to perform a recital with solo viola repertoire from the Baroque, Classical and early twentieth century periods, which allows us to observe and analyze the evolution of this instrument throughout history. The preparation of the works is based on research about the chosen repertoire and its interpretative analysis, using the bibliography related to the selected theme and the directions of the project director
