dc.description.abstractDurante la práctica empresarial en la Electrificadora de Santander, se realizó un análisis exhaustivo de las herramientas de gestión utilizadas por el área de gestión operativa. Aunque se encontró que la empresa cuenta con herramientas competitivas, también se identificaron debilidades que afectan el cumplimiento de los objetivos de la empresa. Entre estas debilidades se encuentran la falta de consideración de factores externos en la toma de decisiones, la insuficiente información en los reportes de ejecución de inversiones y la deficiente comunicación entre áreas. Además, se encontró que las tecnologías de información son una de las principales debilidades de la empresa. Para abordar estas debilidades, se recomienda profundizar en los factores de indexación, construir un diagnóstico económico del entorno y establecer una mejora en la comunicación entre áreas. También se sugiere actualizar las tecnologías de información y capacitar al personal en el uso de herramientas de gestión más avanzadas. En general, este estudio proporciona recomendaciones prácticas para mejorar la gestión de la Electrificadora de Santander y alcanzar la productividad y eficiencia deseadas.
dc.description.abstractenglishDuring the business internship at Electrificadora de Santander, a comprehensive analysis of the management tools used by the operational management area was conducted. Although the company was found to have competitive tools, weaknesses that affect the achievement of its objectives were also identified. These weaknesses include a lack of consideration of external factors in decision-making, insufficient information in investment execution reports, and poor communication between departments. Furthermore, information technology was found to be one of the company's main weaknesses. To address these weaknesses, it is recommended to delve deeper into indexing factors, conduct an economic assessment of the environment, and establish improved communication between departments. It is also suggested that information technology be updated and staff be trained in the use of more advanced management tools. Overall, this study provides practical recommendations for improving Electrificadora de Santander's management and achieving the desired productivity and efficiency.<
