dc.description.abstractEl presente trabajo tiene como objetivo realizar un método para determinar los índices de salud de los activos en las calderas del Departamento de Servicios Industriales Refinería, los cuales son fundamentales para la generación de vapor y el suministro al interior de la refinería para sus procesos. Estos activos (calderas) llevan una delicada gestión y para esto es necesario conocer los síntomas en sus componentes y así tener una predicción para la prevención de fallas y que acciones ejecutar para mantener el control sobre estas. Es bajo estas condiciones que diferentes métodos, técnicas y filosofías se han visto desarrolladas, buscando monitorear de forma constante diferentes variables en los activos. Se parte de una reseña bibliográfica de las metodologías utilizadas en los activos de la industria, la historia de la gestión y las políticas de gestión y mantenimiento de activos dentro de la empresa, para así desarrollar una tesis de las últimas prácticas del Asset Health Management desde un punto de vista integral. En función de estas, y de las recomendaciones de diferentes autores y normativas, se desarrolló una metodología que busca normalizar un proceso lógico de pensamiento, que no sea robusto y considere la experiencia a cualquier activo que se desee analizar, que, tenga en consideración la sintomatología de falla, y como esta puede ser evaluada con las herramientas ya implementadas en la empresa, logrando establecer modelos de gestión de falla. Se expone el Caso de Estudio a las Calderas del Departamento de Servicios Industriales Refinería, la parte de los componentes estáticos del equipo analizado al detalle bajo la metodología propuesta. Finalmente se concluye estudiando la posibilidad de expandir la metodología a cualquier tipo de activo y las ventajas que tendría la integración con nuevas tecnologías en Plantas de Generación Térmica, presentando las ventajas y desventajas de la metodología propuesta.
dc.description.abstractenglishThe objective of this work is to carry out a method to determine the health indices of the assets in the boilers of the Refinery Industrial Services Department, which are fundamental for the generation of steam and the supply to the interior of the refinery for its processes. These assets (boilers) carry a delicate management and for this it is necessary to know the symptoms in their components and thus have a prediction for the prevention of failures and what actions to take to maintain control over them. It is under these conditions that different methods, techniques, and philosophies have been developed, seeking to constantly monitor different variables in assets. It starts with a bibliographic review of the methodologies used in the assets of the industry, the history of management and the policies of management and maintenance of assets within the company, to develop a thesis of the latest practices of Asset Health Management from a comprehensive point of view. Based on these, and the recommendations of different authors and regulations, a methodology was developed that seeks to normalize a logical process of thought, which is not robust and considers the experience of any asset to be analyzed, which considers the Failure symptomatology, and how this can be evaluated with the tools already implemented in the company, managing to establish failure management models. The Case Study of the Boilers of the Refinery Industrial Services Department is exposed, the part of the static components of the equipment analyzed in detail under the proposed methodology. Finally, it concludes by studying the possibility of expanding the methodology to any type of asset and the advantages that integration with new technologies in Thermal Generation Plants would have, presenting the advantages and disadvantages of the proposed methodology.
