dc.description.abstractLa ESE HOSPITAL SAN ANTONIO DE PADUA DEL MUNICIPIO DE SIMITI Œ BOLIVAR Como Institución Prestadora de Servicios de Salud se considera generadora de residuos peligrosos y no peligrosos, por lo tanto responsable legal y jurídicamente de brindar un manejo adecuado a los mismos, obedeciendo a las disposiciones estatales y gubernamentales. El manejo integral de los residuos Institucionales es de vital importancia en la ejecución de las actividades misionales con el fin de garantizar seguridad a funcionarios directos e indirectos de la ESE, pacientes y su familia, a la comunidad en general. La aplicación del presente manual permitirá ejercer una gestión segura y eficaz de los residuos que se generen, permitiendo así minimizar los riesgos para la salud, y favorecer su impacto al medio ambiente y al mundo. El manual está constituido con base a la normatividad vigente y emanada de los Ministerios de Protección Social y del Medio Ambiente, elaborado con la participación activa de las comunidad de la IPS. El presente documento brinda estándares, procesos y actividades fundamentales como respuesta a las necesidades particulares de la institución partiendo del diagnostico sanitario y ambiental. Es importante realizar el monitoreo y control permanente de su cumplimiento, reporte a las autoridades sanitarias y ambientales, además de la constante capacitación contenida en el del programa de formación y educación. La adquisición del compromiso institucional por parte de la Gerencia y el Comité de Gestión Ambiental son un adelanto importante para la aplicación de todos los procesos administrativos y asistenciales al real cumplimiento las normas en materia de gestión de residuos hospitalarios.
dc.description.abstractenglishThe ESE HOSPITAL SAN ANTONIO DE PADUA DEL MUNICIPIO DE SIMITI Œ BOLIVAR, as a providing Institution of Health Services, is considered a generator of hazardous and non-hazardous wastes, therefore, is legally bond to keep an adequate management of them, following the governmental and state dispositions. The integral management of institutional wastes is of great importance for the execution of the institution activities, in order to ensure the safety of direct and indirect functionaries of the ESE, patients with their families, as well as the hole community. The correct application of this manual will allow a safe and effective management of the wastes generated, thus minimizing the risks for health, and favoring the impact it has on the environment and the world. This manual is based on the current rules and norms, emanated from the Ministerios de Proteccion Social y Medio Ambiente, and developed with the active participation of the IPS community. It provides standards, processes and key activities in response to the particular needs of the institution, based on the sanitary and environmental diagnosis. It is important to perform a permanent monitoring and control of its compliment, sanitary and environmental authorities report, and the constant training contained in the educational training program. Obtaining the commitment of the institution™s Management office and Environmental Management Committee is a key step for the adequate application of all the administrative and healthcare processes, for the complete fulfillment of the norms, in the management of hospital wastes.
