dc.description.abstractLa escuela de ingeniería civil de la universidad industrial de Santander se ha interesado en evaluar el daño a escala global de la ciudad de Bucaramanga, para lo cual es necesario conocer el comportamiento de las edificaciones más típicas y evaluarlas con modelos no lineales, debido a que los sismos de diseño inducen en estas un comportamiento en el rango inelástico. El daño producido por los eventos sísmicos en ciudades con una gran cantidad de edificaciones de mampostería puede llegar a ser considerable, por esta razón es necesario contar con herramientas adecuadas que permitan evaluar en forma fiable su comportamiento estructural. Uno de los software en el mercado, especializados en el análisis de estructuras en mampostería, es el programa italiano fi3MURI, este realiza una análisis no lineal y por tanto tiene en cuenta el comportamiento de las edificaciones en los rangos elástico e inelástico simultáneamente. Sin embargo, a lo largo de este proceso de estudio, se hizo evidente la dificultad para la aplicación de dicho software en Colombia, pues el fi3Muri trabaja únicamente con normas italianas poco similares a la NSR-98, lo cual requiere un conocimiento básico de la norma OPCM 3274 para su manejo.
dc.description.abstractenglishThe school of civil engineering of the industrial university of Santander has been interested in evaluating the damage to global scale of the city of Bucaramanga, for that is necessary to know the behavior of the most typical constructions and to evaluate them with non lineal models, because the design earthquakes induce in these a behavior in the inelastic range. The damage taken place by the seismic events in cities with a great quantity of masonry constructions can end up being considerable, for this reason it is necessary to have appropriate tools that allow to evaluate in reliable form its structural behavior. One of the software in the market, specialized in the analysis of structures in masonry, is the Italian program "3MURI", this carries out a non lineal analysis and therefore the constructions behaviors in the ranges elastic and inelastic simultaneously. However, along this study process, it became evident the difficulty for the application of this software in Colombia, because the "3Muri" only works with Italian norms which are different to the NSR-98, therefore it requires a basic knowledge of the norm OPCM 3274 for their handling.
