dc.description.abstractenglishCurrently the sectors of the economy seek to be competitive, for this it is essential that the country has an optimal road infrastructure, and 4G road projects become a primary tool for economic growth by improving connectivity between cities. These projects become challenges for engineering, which is responsible for executing them, ensuring that they comply with the specifications and deliver a quality final product. In concession projects, the role of professionals in charge of controlling the quantities of work executed, guaranteeing compliance with schedules, verifying technical specifications and paying contractors according to the type of contract is of vital importance. These projects allow the student to apply the knowledge acquired in the undergraduate program and to acquire skills that will allow him/her to perform a correct professional practice. This document is the result of the degree project as a business practice modality, in which the most relevant aspects of the activities performed in the execution of civil works during the time worked as an engineering assistant in the works executed by the company Consultora ingeniería & Proyectos Martínez Roncancio S.A.S. in the Ruta del Cacao project in the BucaramangaBarrancabermejaYondó road corridor
