dc.description.abstractEl plan de estudios del programa de Diseño Industrial de la Universidad Industrial de Santander cuenta con una línea de fundamentación en ingeniería, a diferencia de otras universidades en Colombia, lo cual es una ventaja del perfil profesional de los estudiantes, debido a esto, el egresado tiene una formación más amplia y está mejor capacitado para ejercer en el campo laboral, sin embargo, se evidencia que las materias de la línea de ingeniería son las de mayor dificultad, siendo las más repetidas por los estudiantes. Con el propósito de mejorar la apropiación de los conceptos este proyecto propone el diseño y la proyección de un laboratorio de ayuda para la línea de ingeniería, que apoye las labores de enseñanza en la EDI-UIS, se plantea generar un espacio que permita a las futuras generaciones de estudiantes integrar de manera tangible los conocimientos teóricos adquiridos en el aula de clase y las actividades propuestas en cada una de las asignaturas de la línea de ingeniería, aplicando la metodología de aprendizaje experiencial y así aportar al desarrollo de las asignaturas, consecuente a esto, el proyecto permite apoyar la docencia, la investigación y la extensión, orientándolo a que sea autosostenible. Para esto se empleó la metodología de objetivos específicos tareas y resultados con el fin de dividir organizar e identificar las actividades pertinentes que permitan cumplir con los objetivos propuestos de forma eficiente, y la metodología para la generación de proyectos tipo A, del Banco de Programas y Proyectos de Inversión de la oficina de planeación de la universidad
dc.description.abstractenglishThe curriculum of the Industrial Designing program of the Industrial University of Santander has a line of foundation in engineering, contrasting to other universities in Colombia. Due to this, there is an advantage of the professional profile of students; the graduates have a more complete education and they are able to practice in the labor field, as well. However, it is evident that these subjects are the most difficult for students. These subjects are the most reiterated by students either by the type of methodology or because they are not practical. The purpose of this model is to reduce the loss of these materials and it proposes both the design and the projection of an aid laboratory for the engineering line that supports the teaching tasks in the EDI-UIS. Moreover, it is proposed to generate a space that allows future generations of students to practice, in which they can concretely integrate the theoretical knowledge acquired in the classroom and the activities proposed in each of the subjects, applying the methodology of experiential learning. Thus, by changing the way classes have been taught in recent years, the project supports teaching, research and extension, directing it to be self-sustaining. For this purpose, the methodology of specific objectives, tasks, and results were used. In order to divide, organize, and identify the relevant activities that allow fulfilling the objectives proposed in an efficient way. Finally, it was taken the methodology for the generation of type A projects from the Programs Bank and Investment Projects of the university planning office
