dc.description.abstractEl Sito Web de la EISI ha estado evolucionando generación tras generación gracias al aporte invaluable de las implementaciones de nuevos y mejores servicios por cada uno de los miembros del Grupo de Desarrollo de Software CALUMET, permitiendo llegar a la versión 5.0 del Sitio. Sin embargo, el Sitio Web de la EISI no es exclusivo para nuestra Escuela, en el presente proyecto fue implantado en la Escuela de Ingeniería Industrial, afirmando con seguridad que todas las Escuelas de la Universidad Industrial de Santander requieren con urgencia una herramienta de esta índole. La iniciativa del presente proyecto surge como respuesta a las necesidades de la EEIE, EISI, EICI y miembros de Calumet, algunas de ellas: creación del servicio que permite la impresión del Horario Semestral de Actividades y Modificación de los Puntos De Actividades de Docencia (PAD™s) por parte de cada Docente, envío automático de correo con la información del login y la contraseña diligenciada hacia el respectivo usuario en el momento en que se registra, envío de correos masivos a los estudiantes de acuerdo al semestre en que estos se encuentren, generar copias de seguridad (Backup) de la Base de Datos llamada Division, creación del servicio que permita de manera sencilla hacer la búsqueda de cualquier usuario y mostrar toda la información del mismo, bloqueo de símbolos ASCII en las cajas de búsqueda tanto a nivel del cliente como del servidor, para brindar una mayor seguridad al Sitio Web, efectuar el proceso de reingeniería del código fuente y de la base de datos correspondientes a los módulos Agenda y Eventos EEIE, entre otras. El proyecto implicó la asunción de una actitud abierta, dinámica y un compromiso en la práctica orientada a desencadenar procesos que culminaron con la mejora del Sitio Web.
dc.description.abstractenglishThe Website of the EISI generation has been evolving after generation thanks to the contribution invaluable of the implementations of new and better services for each of the members of the Group of Development of Software CALUMET, allowing to come to the version 5.0 of the Site. Nevertheless, the Website of the EISI is not exclusive for our school, in the present project it was implanted in the School of Industrial Engineering, affirming safely that all the Schools of the Industrial University of Santander need urgently a tool of this nature. The initiative of the present project arises as response to the needs of the EEIE, EISI, EICI and members of Calumet, some of them: creation of the service that allows the printing of the half-yearly schedule of activities and modification of the Points Activities of Teaching (PAD's) on the part of every teacher, automatic sending of mail with the information of the login and the password dealed towards the respective user in the moment of his register, sending of massive mail to the students of agreement to the semester in which these are, to generate safety copies (Backup) of the Database called Division, creation of the service that allows in a simple way to make the search of any user and show all the information of the same one, blockade of symbols ASCII in the boxes of search so much to level of the client as of the server, to offer a major safety to the Website, to effect the process of reengineering of the source code and of the Database corresponding to the modules Agenda and Events EEIE, between others. The project involved the assumption of an opened, dynamic attitude and a commitment in the practice orientated to unleashing processes that reached with the improvement of the Website.
