dc.description.abstractEste proyecto tiene como objetivo diseñar un sistema de costos para la empresa Industrias Plásticas Jaerplast, para utilizarlo como herramienta gerencial y de apoyo en la toma de decisiones, mediante un detallado análisis de su modelo de producción. Como primer paso se realiza un diagnostico en la empresa y en su sistema de costos con el cual se busca analizar las debilidades y fortalezas de dicho sistema como apoyo a las decisiones gerenciales, seguido a esto se estudian diferentes sistemas de costeo con el fin de definir cuál es el que mejor se ajusta a las necesidades de la empresa. Se realiza también un Pareto con el fin de definir las familias de productos que van a ser tenidas en cuenta para la prueba piloto. Con la ayuda de un estudio de tiempos se diseña una herramienta ofimática que permite verificar la aplicación del modelo de costos y la información que arroja para la gerencia en la toma de decisiones, seguido a esto se aplica la prueba piloto del sistema diseñado tomando como referencia las familias de productos obtenidas del pareto, finalmente se realiza una comparación entre el sistema de costos inicial de la empresa y el sistema de costos diseñado. dc.description.abstractenglishThis project aims to design a cost system for the company Industrias Plásticas Jaerplast, to be used as a management and support tool in decision-making, through a detailed analysis of its production model. As a first step, a diagnosis is carried out in the company and in its cost system with which it is sought to analyze the weaknesses and strengths of said system in support of managerial decisions, followed by studying different costing systems in order to define which one best suits the needs of the company. A Pareto is also carried out in order to define the product families that will be taken into account for the pilot test. With the help of a time study, an office tool is designed to verify the application of the cost model and the information it provides for management in decision-making, followed by the pilot test of the system designed taking as reference of the families of products obtained from the pareto, a comparison is finally made between the initial cost system of the company and the designed cost system.
