dc.description.abstractEl presente trabajo tuvo como finalidad presentar los resultados relacionados con los objetivos de apoyo planteados al proye sendero ecoturístico en el Cerro La Milagrosa del municipio de Duitama como una alternativa de GUIA de la Universidad Pedagógica y Tecnológica de Colombia UPTC. En el desarrollo del proyecto se generaron acciones encaminadas al mapeo del territorio y la delimitación del sendero ecoturístico a partir de un estudio geoespacial, el cual fue soportado por el uso de Sistemas de Información Geográfica en la consolidación de bases de datos para la elaboración y diseño de mapas topográfico y temático, complementado con la definición del perfil del sendero. Estas actividades apoyaron de manera significativa el proyecto macro, para fundamentar una propuesta de implementación del sendero en cuanto a los elementos geográficos básicos y en la definición de un plan de señalización turística, aspectos que fueron presentados ante las autoridades municipales locales para su desarrollo
dc.description.abstractenglishThis work aims to present the results related to the support objectives set for the municipality of Duitama as an alternative for the development and diversification of tourist ded by the research group GUIA of the Universidad Pedagógica y Tecnológica de Colombia UPTC. In the development of the project actions were generated focused on mapping the territory and the delimitation of the ecotourism trail based on a geospatial study, which was supported by the use of Geographic Information Systems (SIG) in the consolidation of databases for the creation and design of topographic and thematic maps complemented with the definition of the trail profile. These activities significantly supported the macro project, to support a proposal for the implementation of the trail in terms of basic geographic elements and in the definition of a tourist signaling plan, aspects that were presented to the local municipal authorities for their development
