| dc.description.abstract | El campo Caño es uno de los campos en Latinoamérica, con mayor desarrollo tecnológico aplicado; es por ello que el departamento de Producción e Ingeniería de Occidental de Colombia (PAE), Inc. tiene como objetivo el desarrollo de proyectos de optimización de producción y la implementación de nuevos sistemas de levantamiento, que se adapten a las cambiantes condiciones de operación de los pozos del campo, debido a la normal declinación de la presión del yacimiento con el tiempo. Este trabajo presenta un análisis técnico y económico para la implementación del sistema de levantamiento artificial tipo tornillo gemelo en el campo Caño Limón, teniendo en cuenta las condiciones mecánicas y de operación de los pozos; para este objetivo se seleccionaron 4 pozos con diferentes potenciales de producción. Para la puesta en marcha de este proyecto se efectuó un estudio económico sencillo, el cual fue realizado teniendo en cuenta las tasas máximas de producción de petróleo propuestas en el análisis técnico, y usando como criterio de evaluación financiera el valor presente neto; los resultados de ambos estudios determinaron, que la implementación de dicho sistema de levantamiento es viable desde ambos puntos de vista, y se constituye como una excelente opción, en el caso que el sistema de levantamiento artificial ESP se torne deficiente. | |
| dc.description.abstractenglish | The Caño Limon field is one of the fields, with greater applied technological development in Latin America; it is for that reason that the department of Production and Engineering of Occidental of Colombia (PAE), has as objective the development of projects of production optimization and the implementation of new artificial lift systems, which adapt to the changing conditions of operation of wells in the field, due to the normal reservoir pressure declination. This work presents a technical and economic analysis for the implementation of the twin screw artificial lift system in the Caño Limón field, keeping in mind the mechanical conditions and of operation of wells; for this objective 4 wells with different potentials from production were selected. For the beginning of this project a simple economic study took place, which was made keeping in mind the maximum rates of petroleum production proposed in the technical analysis, and using as criterion of financial evaluation the net present value; the results of both studies determined, that the implementation of this artificial lift system is viable from both points of view, and it is constituted an excellent option, in the case that the Artificial lift system ESP becomes deficient. | |
