dc.description.abstractEn esta pasantía de investigación se tratará de analizar el contexto en el cual se desarrolló la cofradía del Santísimo Sacramento de Cacota de Suratá, en relación con las políticas de congregación y traslados indígenas. Asimismo, se intentará comprender, como a partir de la ordenación espacial se utilizaron las cofradías como un recurso de control y de continuidad al proyecto evangelizador, al punto de convertirse en símbolos de resistencia e identidad para los indígenas. Siguiendo esta premisa, el propósito de este proyecto es reconstruir el desarrollo histórico que tuvo esta región antes, durante y después de ser un Pueblo de indios. En primer lugar, se describe las Visitas de 1602 y 1623, para exponer las causas que llevaron a la formación de Cacota de Suratá. Luego, se muestra que ocurrió durante su existencia con la cofradía del Santísimo Sacramento, cuyos registros van de mediados del siglo XVIII y comienzos del XIX. Igualmente, se busca complementar esta información con los registros hallados en la cofradía del Santo Ecce Homo, la cual comprende los periodos de finales del XVII al XVIII. De esta forma, se busca descubrir cómo se desarrolló este pueblo, desde su formación en 1623 hasta su parroquialización en 1778.
dc.description.abstractenglishIn this research internship will try to analyze the context in which the brotherhood of the Blessed Sacrament of Cácota de Suratá was developed, in relation to the congregation's policies and indigenous transfers. Likewise, it seeks to understand, as from the spatial planning, the brotherhoods were used as a resource of control and continuity to the evangelizing project, to the point of becoming symbols of resistance and identity for the naturals. Following this premise, the purpose of this project is to reconstruct the historical development that this region had before, during and after being an Indians village. First, he will describe the Visits of 1602 and 1623 to expose the causes that led to the formation of Cácota de Suratá. Then, it will show what happened during its existence with the brotherhood of the Blessed Sacrament, whose records go from the middle of the 18th century and the beginning of the 19th century. Likewise, it seeks to complement this information with the records found in the brotherhood of the Holy Ecce Homo, which includes the periods from the end of the 17th to the 18th. In this way, it seeks to discover how this town developed from its formation in 1623 until its parroquialization in 1778.
