dc.description.abstract	En este trabajo de grado Recital de música contemporánea: Técnicas extendidas del saxofón soprano, alto y tenor aplicadas en el repertorio de los siglos XX y XXI se evidencia el montaje del repertorio académico que comprende técnicas extendidas como parte del discurso musical para presentarse en un recital. También se da análisis interpretativo y contexto sobre las obras escogidas: Grab it!-Jacob ter Veldhuis (1999), Ku Ku- Barry Cockroft (1997), Otli- Arodi Martinez (2018); junto con la explicación de las características sonoras y la ejecución de cada uno de los efectos y técnicas contenidas en las obras: Multifónicos, sobreagudos, bisbigliando, armónicos-overtones, slaps, growling, trinos tímbricos, glissandos; mediante una serie de recomendaciones desde las bases elementales de la producción del sonido del saxofón como lo son la respiración, control de la columna de aire y la embocadura de manera que se realice el montaje de las obras y la resolución de problemas técnicos y dificultades mecánicas encontradas en la ejecución de las piezas con el fin de avanzar en el proceso instrumental del saxofón abordando este repertorio además de aportar culturalmente al crecimiento musical de la Escuela de artes y música de la Universidad Industrial de Santander y a la comunidad de saxofonistas de la región.
dc.description.abstractenglish	In this degree work, Contemporary music recital: Extended techniques of the soprano, alto and tenor saxophone applied in the repertoire of the 20th and 21st centuries the montage of the academic repertoire that comprising extended techniques as part of the musical discourse to be presented in a recital. Context and analysis is also given on the chosen works: Grab it! -Jacob Ter Vledhuis (1999), Ku Ku- Barry Cockroft (1997), Otli- Arodi Martinez (2018); together with the explanation of the characteristics and the execution of each of the effects and techniques contained in the works is proposed: Multiphonics, altissimos, bisbigliandos, overtones, slaps, growling, timbric trills, glissandos; through a series of recommendations from the elementary bases of the saxophone sound production as are the breath, control of the air column and the embouchure so that the montage of the works and the resolution of technical and mechanical problems encountered in the execution of music is carried out in order to advance the instrumental process of the saxophone addressing this repertoire as well as contributing culturally to the musical growth of the School of Arts and Music of the Industrial University of Santander and the saxophonist community of the region.
