dc.description.abstractEl concepto de chthuluceno representa uno de los pilares fundamentales de la contribución de Haraway al debate actual sobre cómo actuar frente a los problemas que afronta el planeta tierra. Sin embargo, todavía no ha sido estudiado sistemáticamente en la obra de la filósofa, lo cual permitiría comprender mejor su dimensión y relevancia en su propuesta alternativa. También permitiría mostrar cómo y en qué medida Haraway ha venido desarrollando y transformando sus ideas en torno a la ciencia y la política, a partir de las discusiones y las investigaciones presentes en torno a la crisis ambiental a la que todos estamos enfrentados. Surgen así las preguntas, siguientes ¿Qué significa el chthuluceno como propuesta alternativa a los conceptos de antropoceno y capitaloceno? ¿En qué consiste su novedad en el marco del contexto teórico propuesto por Haraway en algunas de sus obras anteriores a Seguir con el problema (2019)? ¿Cómo se puede pensar sus planteamientos y ramificaciones políticas? Dar cuenta de estas preguntas es el objetivo fundamental de este trabajo.
dc.description.abstractenglishThe concept of chthulucene represents one of the fundamental pillars of Haraway's contribution to the current debate on how to act in the face of the problems facing planet Earth. However, it has not yet been systematically studied in the philosopher's work, which would allow us to better understand its dimension and relevance in her alternative proposal. It would also allow us to show how and to what extent Haraway has been developing and transforming her ideas about science and politics, based on the current discussions and research on the environmental crisis we are all facing. The following questions thus arise What does chthulucene mean as an alternative proposal to the concepts of anthropocene and capitalocene? What does its novelty consist of in the framework of the theoretical context proposed by Haraway in some of her works prior to Following the Problem (2019)? How can its political approaches and ramifications be thought of? To account for these questions is the fundamental aim of this work.
