dc.description.abstractEl presente trabajo es un análisis literario propuesto desde la teoría psicoanalítica a cinco obras del escritor Gustavo Cote Uribe: la pieza teatral El cuento de las naranjas dulces (1970); tres de los cuentos publicados en Por donde llega la gloria (1977): “Los fusiles también tienen miedo”, “El viejo verde” y “Uday”, y la novela Cuando no zarparon los barcos (1991). Salvo las menciones que realizaron Palencia (2000) y Figueroa (1992), no hay trabajos dedicados a analizar la obra de Cote Uribe, por lo que el objetivo principal del presente texto es iniciar la crítica literaria de este autor a partir de una lectura psicoanalítica. Para ello, se analizaron las obras de Gustavo Cote Uribe en sus elementos reiterativos; se contrastó la obra del autor con aspectos de su vida personal para valorar cómo se articulan estos en su producción literaria; seguidamente, se realizó un análisis de estas articulaciones con los conceptos de la teoría psicoanalítica - principalmente se tuvo en cuenta los aportes teóricos de Sigmund Freud (1975; 2006; 2008), Massimo Recalcati (2014) y Carl Jung (1968; 1995). Al final, se ofrece una posible interpretación sobre cómo se representa la figura paternal en la obra literaria de Gustavo Cote Uribe.
dc.description.abstractenglishThe present work is a literary analysis proposed from the psychoanalytic theory to five works of the writer Gustavo Cote Uribe: The theatrical piece El cuento de las naranjas dulces (1970); three of the stories published in Por donde llega la gloria (1977): "Los fusiles también tienen miedo", "El viejo verde" and "Uday", and the novel Cuando no zarparon los barcos (1991). Except for the mentions made by Palencia (2000) and Figueroa (1992), there are no works dedicated to analyzing the work of Cote Uribe, so the main objective of the present text is to initiate the literary criticism of this author from a psychoanalytical reading. For this purpose, Gustavo Cote Uribe's works were analyzed in their reiterative elements; The author's work was contrasted with aspects of his personal life to assess how these are articulated in his literary production; subsequently, an analysis of these articulations with the concepts of psychoanalytic theory was carried out - mainly the theoretical contributions of Sigmund Freud (1975; 2006; 2008), Massimo Recalcati (2014) and Carl Jung (1968; 1995) were considered. At the end, some conclusions were written as a synthesis that allowed elucidating how the paternal figure is represented in Gustavo Cote Uribe's literary work.
