dc.description.abstractEl presente documento, representa la proyección de un seminario de investigación relacionado con el aprendizaje entre iguales (pares); figura conocida como Círculos de Interacción y Participación Académica y Social (CIPAS), en la oferta educativa a distancia. El contexto de intervención es el programa de Gestión Empresarial de la Universidad Industrial de Santander (UIS); escenario al que se espera aportar desde la formulación de unos lineamientos a favor del fortalecimiento de dicha figura. Este trabajo de grado presenta un diagnóstico de la dinámica actual del trabajo en CIPAS, realizado a través de encuestas a estudiantes del programa, una revisión documental sobre teorías y experiencias asociadas al aprendizaje entre iguales y la identificación de buenas prácticas para el estudio grupal en escenarios universitarios, todo esto para proporcionar a la Coordinación del Programa Gestión Empresarial de la UIS, lineamientos para favorecer el desarrollo de los CIPAS, el cual es un elemento esencial en la modalidad de estudio a distancia. Se utilizó la metodología de seminario alemán comprendida en tres fases: planeación, ejecución e informe final de resultados (Vélez, 2002). A partir de un proceso de revisión de literatura especializada, los participantes abordaron las temáticas de aprendizaje entre pares, aprendizaje colaborativo, aprendizaje cooperativo, aprendizaje social y comunidades de práctica, con el fin de detectar insumos para los lineamientos pretendidos. Posterior al diagnóstico y análisis de la literatura especializada, se encontró que hay múltiples oportunidades de mejora: dar a conocer a estudiantes herramientas que faciliten el trabajo colaborativo y reevaluar con el colectivo docentes buenas prácticas que favorezcan el trabajo en CIPAS.
dc.description.abstractenglishThis work shows the projection of a research seminar related to peer learning; a figure known as Circles of Interaction and Academic and Social Participation (CIPAS) in the distance education offering. The context of intervention is the program of Business Management at Universidad Industrial de Santander (UIS); scenario in which it is expected to contribute from the formulation of some guidelines in favor of the strengthening of this figure. This graduate work presents a diagnosis of the current dynamics of work at CIPAS, carried out through surveys of students in the program, a documentary review of theories and experiences associated with peer learning and the identification of good practices for group study in university settings, all of which will provide the Coordination of the Business Management Program at UIS, with the guidelines to favor the development of CIPAS, which is an essential element in the distance study mode. The German seminar methodology was used and it comprises three phases: planning, execution and final report of results (Vélez, 2002). Based on a process of reviewing specialized literature, participants addressed the themes of peer learning, collaborative learning, cooperative learning, social learning, and communities of practice, in order to detect inputs for the intended guidelines. After the diagnosis and analysis of this specialized literature, it was found that there are some opportunities for improvement: providing students with tools that facilitate collaborative work and re-evaluating with the teaching community good practices that favor work at CIPAS.
