dc.description.abstractEste trabajo de grado resultado de la práctica realizada en la División de Publicaciones UIS expone cómo los conocimientos interdisciplinarios en historia y archivística permiten el desarrollo de la historia de la División de Publicaciones y mejoran la gestión documental de esta dependencia. Se trazó por objetivo general desarrollar el proceso de identificación y valoración documental que refleje la historia institucional de la División de Publicaciones y facilite la organización de seis metros lineales del archivo de esta unidad administrativa. Los resultados alcanzados en este trabajo de grado como la propuesta de actualización de la TRD, la elaboración de la historia institucional de la División de Publicaciones y la organización de seis principalmente desde las directrices teórico-conceptuales manejadas por el AGN y el Archivo de Bogotá. No obstante, cada uno de los objetivos cumplidos fue enriquecido desde los aportes realizados por los diferentes autores que ha trabajado sobre estos temas. Así mismo, se intentó hacer una reflexión de la importancia de la valoración documental en la memoria institucional y el papel que desempeña el historiador y archivista en su desarrollo, a partir de los hallazgos encontrados en la División de Publicaciones.
dc.description.abstractenglishThis project, as the result of the internship did at the UIS Publication department, presents how the interdisciplinary knowledges on History and archival allow the development of the Publication department history and improve the documentary management of this department. The main drawn up objective was to develop the documentary identification and assessment process that reflects the institutional history of the office and facilitates the organization of six linear meters of this administrative office archive. The obtained results of this internship, such as the documentary retention table updating proposal, the devising of the institutional history of the Publication department and the organization of six the theorical-conceptual guidelines dictated by the National General Archive and the Archive of Bogotá. Nevertheless, each of the accomplished objectives was improved from the contribution made by the different authors who have worked on this subjetc. In addition, it was intended a reflection on the importance of documentary assessment in the institutional memory and the role played by the historian and archivist, based on the findings made at the Publication department.
