| dc.description.abstract | Las nuevas visiones alternativas de Desarrollo no solo convierten al ser humano en el objeto y sujeto del Desarrollo, sino que lo observan como parte integral de un todo mucho mas amplio en el que se incluye el medio natural, social y cultural en el que está inmerso. A lo largo del trabajo se revisan los enfoques contemporáneos sobre el Desarrollo, la evolución del concepto y las nuevas propuestas teóricas alternativas de Manfred Max-Neef y Amartya Sen. Posteriormente, se confrontan las distintas metodologías e indicadores que se utilizan en la medición de la calidad de vida, con el propósito de destacar los alcances y las limitaciones de cada uno. Seguidamente, se compara la situaron actual de desarrollo local en términos tradicionales, la ciudad percibida, con la ciudad real, tomando el concepto de calidad de vida como medida de desarrollo, para determinar el real grado de bienestar de Bucaramanga y su área metropolitana. Por ultimo, a partir de la anterior comparación, se plantea la necesidad de crear Nuevos Indicadores de Calidad de Vida, basados en las experiencias metodológicas de algunas regiones, para valorar -completamente y de forma integral- el nivel de desarrollo del hombre en toda su dimensión. En conclusión, medir la Calidad de Vida consiste en cuantificar la satisfacción de las necesidades humanas: objetivas y subjetivas, individuales y sociales, en función del medio ambiente donde se vive. Se hace indispensable, entonces, que Bucaramanga y su área metropolitana posean indicadores completos, universales, integrales para cuantificar su nivel y calidad de vida. Estos se deben completar con indicadores propios que midan la problemática de esta ciudad. El hecho es descubrir si Bucaramanga es tan buen vividero como se cree a nivel local y nacional. | |
| dc.description.abstractenglish | The new alternative visions of non alone Development transform the human being into the object and subject of the Development, but rather they observe it like integral part of an everything a lot but wide in the one that the natural, social and cultural means is included in the one that it is immerse. Along the work the contemporary focuses are revised about of the Development, the evolution of the concept and the new proposals theoretical alternatives of Manfred Max-Neef and Amartya Sen. Later on, the different methodologies and indicators that are used in the mensuration of the quality of life are confronted, with the purpose of highlighting the reaches and the limitations of each one. Subsequently, the current situation of local development is compared in traditional terms, the perceived City, with the real City, taking the concept of quality of life like development measure, to determine the real grade of well-being of Bucaramanga and its metropolitan area. Finally, starting from the previous comparison, the necessity to create New Indicators of Quality of Life is propose, based on the methodological experiences of some regions, to value - completely and in an integral way - the level of the man's development in all his dimension. In conclusion, to measure the Quality of Life consists on quantifying the satisfaction of the human necessities: objective and subjective, singular and social, in function of the environment where one lives. Then, that Bucaramanga and their Metropolitan Area possess complete, universal, integrals to quantify their level and quality of life indicators become indispensable,. These should be complemented with own indicators that measure the problem of this city. The fact is "to discover" if Bucaramanga is so good place as it is believed at local and national level. | |
