dc.description.abstractLa participación se ha convertido en un tema que genera grandes discusiones, no sólo porque su promoción conlleva diferentes fines u objetivos, sino porque hay grandes cuestionamientos con respecto del cómo se debe llevar a cabo, más allá del discurso. Por lo tanto, la participación de los actores educativos se convierte así, en un componente básico de la acción que debe trascender y generar cambios tanto para el propio sujeto como para su comunidad. En este sentido, el trabajo de investigación actual surgió como una forma de caracterizar la participación en los procesos de gestión escolar que aportan cooperativamente conocimientos y acciones en la búsqueda de calidad educativa, centrados en el papel fundamental que juegan los diferentes actores educativos que forman parte de ella, padres de familia, estudiantes, maestros y directivos. La investigación se aborda desde el enfoque cualitativo con un diseño etnográfico que permitió la identificación de las concepciones que sobre participación tienen los actores educativos de una institución escolar; asimismo, establecer las prácticas de participación desarrolladas por los actores educativos en los procesos de Gestión de una
dc.description.abstractenglishParticipation has become a polemic topic, not only because its promotion entails different ends or objectives, but also because there are big questions about how it must be carried out, beyond theory. Thus, participation of educative actors becomes a basic component of the action that must transcend and generate changes for the subject himself, as well as for his community. Given this, the present research paper emerged as a way of characterizing the participation in the processes of scholar management, as processes that contribute cooperatively with knowledge and actions that seek educative quality. It also focuses on the main role played by different educative actors such as parents, students, teachers and principals. This research was tackled from a qualitative focus, with an ethnographic design that allowed the identification of the conceptions about participation had by the educative actors at a scholar institution, it also, allowed the establishment of participative practices developed by these actors in managing a scholar institution. Finally, it also allowed the determination of the factors that favor or hinder their participation in the management processes at a scholar institution. The results of this investigation seek the generation of contributions that can help the creation of a framework on the co-responsibility of the educative actors around school life. It also seeks the undertaking of improvement in the educative processes in order to create opportunities of democratization as well as the generation of changes within the institution and in the community they belong.
