dc.description.abstractEste proyecto tiene como propósito el diseño e implementación del sistema de costos para el Hospital Local de Piedecuesta, sistema capaz de brindar la información necesaria que ayude a la toma de decisiones estratégicas y gerenciales encaminadas no solo a perdurar, sino a su crecimiento, eliminando actividades que no generen valor alguno al proceso, frenando costos innecesarios sin afectar la calidad de la prestación de sus servicios. Partiendo de ese objetivo se utilizaron una serie de herramientas cualitativas y cuantitativas como método de diagnóstico para evaluar la metodología de costeo actual implementado en el hospital, posterior a eso se realizó un análisis multicriterio para seleccionar el sistema de costo que más se ajusta a la entidad, Una vez determinado el sistema de costo, se procede a diseñar y desarrollar una herramienta ofimática que supla la función de almacenar y clasificar la información para así calcular los costos unitarios de los servicios de las áreas de urgencia y consulta externas las cuales se seleccionaron como prueba piloto. Finalmente, después de haber realizado un análisis de la eficiencia de la herramienta desarrollada con respecto a la metodología de costeo implementada por el hospital, se plantea unas condiciones mínimas para la correcta ejecución de la herramienta ofimática como gestor base para la toma de decisiones en los procesos de mejora continua.
dc.description.abstractenglishThe purpose of this project is to design and implement the cost system for Piedecuesta Local Hospital, a system capable of providing the necessary information to help making strategic and managerial decisions that are not only long lasting, but to its growth as well, by eliminating activities that do not generate any value to the process, slowing down unnecessary costs without affecting the quality of the services. Based on this objective, a series of qualitative and quantitative tools were used as a diagnostic method to evaluate the current costing methodology implemented in the hospital. After that, a multi-criteria analysis was carried out to select the costing system that best fits the entity, resulting in the "Activity-based costing system" Once the cost system has been determined, an office automation tool is designed and developed to store and classify the information in order to calculate the unit costs of the emergency services and external consultation areas, which were selected as a pilot test. Finally, after having carried out an analysis of the efficiency of the tool developed regarding the costing methodology implemented by the hospital, minimum conditions are established for the correct execution of the office automation tool as a base manager for decision-making in continuous improvement processes.
