dc.description.abstractLos proyectos de infraestructura vial y edificación son un medio de progreso para la sociedad alrededor del mundo, allí se involucran diferentes disciplinas y desarrollan numerosas actividades; debido a esto se presentan problemas de diversa naturaleza donde destacan los factores de atraso los cuales se presentan como uno de los problemas más importantes dado que hacen necesaria, en la mayoría de los casos, una extensión de tiempo para lograr la finalización del proyecto propuesto generando sobrecostos para las partes involucradas, por lo que se ve comprometido su éxito y la satisfacción del cliente. De acuerdo con esto, surge la necesidad de estudiar los diferentes factores de atraso para comprender qué son, los motivos por los que se presentan y cómo se clasifican. En el presente estudio se hace uso de la metodología de revisión sistemática para identificar investigaciones alrededor del mundo donde se haya tratado el tema durante los años 1985 a 2017 encontrando 60 artículos enfocados en listar los factores más influyentes para cada caso de estudio en diferentes países. Se propusieron 20 categorías caracterizadas por los investigadores involucrados encontrando 168 factores de atraso estudiados por los diferentes autores a través de revisiones de literatura, encuestas y estadísticas. dc.description.abstractenglishRoad infrastructure and building projects are important means of progress for society around the world, different disciplines are involved and numerous activities are carried out on this projects; due to this, problems of different nature arise, highlighting delay factors which are one of the most important problems since they make necessary, in most cases, an extension of time to achieve the completion of the proposed project generating cost overruns for the parties involved, compromising their success and customer satisfaction. According to this, there is a need to study the different delay factors in order to understand what they are, the reasons why they are presented and how are they classified. In the present study, the methodology of systematic review is used to identify investigations around the world where this issue was treated during the years 1985 to 2017, 60 articles where found focused on listing the most influential factors for each case of study in different countries. 20 characterized categories were proposed by the researchers involved, finding 168 delay factors studied by the different authors through literature reviews, surveys and statistics.
