dc.description.abstractTeniendo como lugar de enunciación la crítica a la razón ilustrada y el espíritu del Sturm und Drang característicos de lo que conocemos como ilustración tardía o prerromanticismo, esta investigación partirá de una denuncia que hace Schiller en las Cartas sobre la educación estética del hombre contra el Estado moderno, en la cual se nos describe cómo este Estado, al fundarse sobre el antagonismo entre la razón y la sensibilidad, termina ejerciendo una doble violencia que presiona a la humanidad tanto a nivel interno como externo. Para luego pasar a analizar cómo la propuesta de reconciliación de Schiller ante estas violencias, que tiene como punto culminen la construcción de una organización política y social llamada el Estado estético, es insuficiente para este propósito porque, por un lado, termina reproduciendo el mismo antagonismo sacrificial que intenta combatir; y, por otro, porque pretender utilizar al arte, imponiéndole a su contenido una serie de fines morales y a su forma unas exigencias elevadas, como medio a través del cual darles realidad a sus políticas. De manera que nos veremos obligados a buscar una forma de reconciliación que, al igual que Schiller, no haya sido indolente al antagonismo de su época, pero que, sin embargo, no haya caído en reproducir de ningún modo sus violencias: la estética de madurez hegeliana.
dc.description.abstractenglishHaving as a place of enunciation the critique of enlightened reason and the spirit of the Sturm und Drang characteristic of what we know as late enlightenment or pre-romanticism, this investigation will start from a denunciation made by Schiller in the Letters on the aesthetic education of man against the modern State, in which it is described how this State, by being founded on the antagonism between reason and sensitivity, ends up exercising a double violence that puts pressure on humanity both inside and out. To then move on to analyze how Schiller's proposal for reconciliation in the face of these violences, which culminates in the construction of a political and social organization called the aesthetic State, is insufficient for this purpose because, on the one hand, it ends up reproducing the same sacrificial antagonism it tries to combat; and, on the other, because it pretends to use art, imposing high demands on its content and on its form, as a means through which to give reality to its policies. So we will be forced to seek a form of reconciliation that, like Schiller, has not been indolent to the antagonism of his time but which, nevertheless, has not fallen into reproducing in any way its violence: the aesthetics of Hegelian maturity.
