dc.description.abstractLa presente disertación excava en el sentido del cuerpo para William Kentridge. Esto significa que ha de mirarse el uso del cuerpo fáctico como herramienta plástica, como herramienta dialéctica y como herramienta epistemológica. Lo anterior implica volver la mirada a un registro en el que se manifieste esa corporeidad de Kentridge y que sólo encontramos en sus Seis lecciones de dibujo. En el primer capítulo se avanza en la consolidación de este rol del cuerpo como herramienta plástica y epistemológica. Una corporeidad a la que se accede en forma indirecta, concretada en una propuesta plástica y en la voluntad de un decir, y con ello sugerir un pensar. Una filosofía al límite de la filosofía, en el margen, en la que el artista acude a su intuición en lugar de recurrir a una comprensión filosófica. En el segundo capítulo, a partir de la conformación de un corpus de sus conferencias, se presentará un punto de vista de su discurso. La atención se volcará especialmente en las observaciones de cada Lección que puedan ser útiles para aclarar y reforzar los planteamientos iniciales de indagar en el sentido de la lección como discurso epistémico y acto de habla performático. El tercer capítulo sugiere una hermenéutica del cuerpo en una lección de dibujo. En él se explorará la forma en que se expresa un pensar con el cuerpo en la conferencia, o Lecture, y cómo se articula con el resto de su obra.
dc.description.abstractenglishThis dissertation excavates in the sense of the body to William Kentridge. This means the use of the factual artistic body as a dialectical and epistemological tool that involves looking back to a register that manifest this concept in Kentridge work and this only can be found in his Six drawing lessons. The first chapter is advanced in the consolidation of the role of the body as a plastic and epistemological tool. A corporeality which is accessed indirectly, embodied in an art proposal and the will of saying, and thus suggest a though. Thinking in the limits of philosophy, at the edge, where the artist comes to his intuition rather than resorting to a philosophical understanding. In the second chapter, from the creation of a corpus of his lectures, a view of his speech will be presented. The attention will turn over in the comments of each lesson that may be useful to clarify and reinforce the initial approaches to investigate the meaning of the lesson as epistemic discourse and a performative speech act. The third chapter suggests a hermeneutics of the body in a drawing lesson. It describes the way a thinking body at the Lecture will be explored, and how it fits with the rest of his work.
