dc.description.abstractLa formación de ciudadanos capaces de enfrentarse a la demanda del mundo globalizado y competitivo requiere de una educación que se fundamente en el desarrollo de competencias, en este caso, la competencia científica uso comprensivo del conocimiento científico. De manera que, el diagnóstico en el grado 6-05 del Instituto Tecnológico Salesiano Eloy Valenzuela determinó bajos niveles de apropiación en los desempeños de comprensión, lo que limita la aplicación de los conocimientos científicos a situaciones problema y prioriza la memorización. Por ello, esta investigación implementó la estrategia mini-proyectos, a partir del tópico generativo sobre el proceso de nutrición y respiración humana por medio de procesos investigativos y prácticos asociados a problemáticas sociales del contexto. Teniendo como fundamento teórico la enseñanza para la comprensión (EpC) y el ICFES, se diseñó y aplicó una secuencia didáctica que orientó la construcción de cada uno de los mini-proyectos. Posterior a esto, se propusieron categorías de análisis para evaluar el efecto que tuvo la intervención pedagógica, de ahí que, este estudio se sustentó bajo el enfoque cualitativo con diseño de investigación-acción. En cuanto, a los resultados se concluyó que hubo avances significativos en los desempeños de comprensión en comparación al diagnóstico puesto que, los estudiantes asociaron fenómenos biológicos con conceptos científicos, seleccionaron e interpretaron información referida en tablas, gráficas, imágenes textos y videos de divulgación científica y comprendieron problemáticas de su contexto llegando así adoptar hábitos saludables de alimentación, actividad física y una postura crítica frente a las afectaciones que generan las sustancias psicoactivas, asimismo, se fortalecieron las relaciones interpersonales a partir del aprendizaje cooperativo.
dc.description.abstractenglishThe training of citizens capable of facing the demand of the globalized and competitive world requires an education based on the development of competences from the different areas of knowledge, in this case, Natural Sciences. Nevertheless, the current education prioritizes the saturation of contents and the memory learning. For this reason, this investigation implemented the strategy mini-projects for the development of the scientific competence comprehensive use of the knowledge scientific knowledge in students of sixth degree, from the generative topic about the process of nutrition and human breathing through investigative and practical processes associated with social problems in the context. This project was realized in three phases: the first one corresponded to the diagnosis; the second one consisted of the design and application of a didactic sequence that orientated the construction of each one of the mini-projects, and the third one was the evaluation and the analysis of the results, of there that, in this project was sustained under the qualitative approach by design of investigation-action. In addition to this, interpersonal relationships were strengthened through cooperative learning. Regarding the results, it was concluded that there were significant advances in comprehension performance compared to the diagnostic test since, the students associated biological phenomena with scientific concepts, they selected and interpreted information recounted in tables, graphs, images texts and videos of scientific , and they understood problems of their context which allowed them to adopt healthy eating habits, physical activity and a critical position opposite to the affectations that generate the psychoactive substances.
