dc.description.abstractEl sector ovino en Boyacá ha crecido a pasos agigantados y esto se debe al incremento del mercado, pese a ser uno de los negocios de mayor vigencia e importancia no se han desarrollado estudios que permitan establecer que tan eficiente y sostenible es el negocio, frente a esto se realizó una investigación la cual se llevó a cabo en la finca campo hermoso del municipio de Güicán de la Sierra Boyacá, utilizando para ello un tipo de investigación experimental comparativo y de campo el cual indaga, interpreta y presenta datos e información sobre un tema determinado utilizando una metódica de análisis obteniendo datos que pudiesen ser base para el desarrollo de la creación científica. En el cual se implementó dos sistemas de pastoreo; uno rotacional que fue temporalmente y otro extensivo tradicional, en un lapso de tiempo de cuatro meses. Allí se evaluaron variables como ganancia de peso diaria, estado sanitario, prueba de famacha y examen coprológico y valoración de los animales a nivel zootécnico y semiológico cada 15 días. Una vez terminado el estudio se buscó establecer la eficacia en cada uno de los sistemas, Se concluyó que hay una diferencia significativa favorable en el sistema rotacional frente al extensivo, lo cual permite que su implementación sea más rentable para la finca ovina. *
dc.description.abstractenglishThe sheep sector in Boyacá has grown by leaps and bounds and this is due to the increase in the market, despite being one of the most valid and important businesses, no studies have been developed to establish how efficient and sustainable the business is, compared to This was carried out an investigation which was carried out in the beautiful countryside farm of the municipality of Güicán de la Sierra Boyacá, using a type of comparative and field experimental research which investigates, interprets and presents data and information on a subject determined using a method of analysis obtaining data that could be the basis for the development of scientific creation. In which two grazing systems were implemented; one rotational that was temporarily and another extensive traditional, in a period of four months. There, variables such as daily weight gain, health status, famacha test and coprological examination and assessment of animals at a zootechnical and semiological level every 15 days were evaluated. Once the study was completed, it was sought to establish the effectiveness in each of the systems. It was concluded that there is a significant favorable difference in the rotational system compared to the extensive one, which allows its implementation to be more profitable for the sheep farm. *
