dc.description.abstractLa Electrificadora de Santander S.A. E.S.P. (ESSA), en el marco de su proceso de transformación digital, busca fortalecer la eficiencia operativa en sus procesos financieros. Este proyecto surge como respuesta a dicha necesidad. Con este objetivo, el enfoque propuesto se centró en automatizar tareas rutinarias de las unidades de facturación, impuestos y activos fijos, con el fin de reducir la carga operativa y mejorar la trazabilidad y confiabilidad de las operaciones. Para ello, se emplearon herramientas low-code de Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps y Power Automate), junto con rutinas desarrolladas en Python, lo que permitió diseñar soluciones ágiles, escalables y alineadas con los requerimientos normativos vigentes. El documento expone el diagnóstico de los procesos intervenidos, el diseño y desarrollo de los prototipos, las pruebas ejecutadas y los resultados obtenidos. Finalmente, se presentan conclusiones y recomendaciones orientadas a fomentar una cultura de innovación continua y asegurar la mejora continua de las soluciones implementadas.
dc.description.abstractenglishThe Electrificadora de Santander S.A. E.S.P. (ESSA), as part of its digital transformation process, aims to enhance operational efficiency within its financial internal procedures. This project emerges in response to that objective. Accordingly, the proposed approach focused on automating routine tasks in the billing, tax, and fixed assets departments, with the goal of reducing operational workload and improving the traceability and reliability of financial operations. To achieve this, low-code tools from the Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps and Power Automate) were employed, alongside Python-developed routines. These technologies enabled the design of agile and scalable solutions aligned with current regulatory requirements. This document presents a diagnostic of the processes involved, the design and development of prototypes, the tests conducted, and the results obtained. Finally, conclusions and recommendations are provided to foster a culture of continuous innovation and to support the ongoing improvement of the implemented solutions.
