dc.description.abstractEn el presente documento, se detallan las actividades ejecutadas como auxiliar de residencia de obra para la División de Planta Física de la Universidad Industrial de Santander; con el fin de optar por el título de Ingeniera Civil. Durante la práctica empresarial, se desempeñaron actividades relacionadas con el control y la supervisión de obra, en apoyo al ingeniero residente para el área de arquitectura y red contraincendios, correspondiente al proyecto de “Mejoramiento de la infraestructura física de la Facultad de Salud UIS”. En los cuatro meses de duración de la práctica, la obra avanzó en la construcción de pisos en concreto endurecido y pulido, bordillos, andenes, muros en mampostería confinada, muros arquitectónicos y recalces en concreto a la vista; acabados de muros, mortero de nivelación, instalación de redes hidrosanitarias y contraincendios, entre otros. A partir de estas actividades, se realizaron tareas como la elaboración de informes de avances y pendientes, cálculo de cantidades de obra, empleando softwares como ©Revit y ©AutoCAD, para el control de rendimientos; acompañamiento en la supervisión de los procesos constructivos y cumplimiento de los estándares de calidad, colaborando con el tutor, contratistas e interventoría, compartiendo la información y solucionando los inconvenientes que se pueden presentar en obra. Lo mencionado anteriormente, permitió el satisfactorio cumplimiento de los objetivos y un gran aporte al crecimiento profesional de la estudiante.
dc.description.abstractenglishIn this document, the activities carried out as an assistant resident engineer for the Physical Plant Division of the Industrial University of Santander are detailed; in order to opt for the title of Civil Engineer. During the business practice, activities related to the control and supervision of work were carried out, in support of the resident engineer for the area of architecture and fire protection network, corresponding to the project "Improvement of the physical infrastructure of the UIS Faculty of Health". During the four-month internship, the work progressed in the construction of hardened and polished concrete floors, curbs, platforms, confined masonry walls, architectural walls exposed concrete ; wall finishes, leveling mortar, installation of hydrosanitary and firefighting networks, among others. Based on these activities, tasks were carried out such as the preparation of progress and pending reports, calculation of work quantities, using software such as ©Revit and ©AutoCAD, for performance control; Accompaniment in the supervision of construction processes and compliance with quality standards, collaborating with the tutor, contractors and auditors, sharing information and solving mishaps that may occur on site. The above mentioned allowed the satisfactory fulfillment of the objectives and a great contribution to the professional growth of the student.
