dc.description.abstractLa investigación “La imagen como herramienta pedagógica para el desarrollo de destrezas superiores de comprensión e interpretación en estudiantes de quinto grado de una institución educativa oficial del municipio de Barrancabermeja” se realizó bajo el enfoque cualitativo, su objetivo general fue determinar de qué manera una herramienta pedagógica que involucra la imagen desarrolla destrezas superiores de comprensión e interpretación en los estudiantes de grado quinto de una Institución Educativa oficial del municipio de Barrancabermeja. De esa forma, se realizó una prueba de lectura inicial y otra final; la aplicación de entrevistas semiestructuradas a las docentes titulares del curso y observaciones no participantes que permitieron dar a conocer qué estrategias utilizaban las docentes para desarrollar la comprensión y la interpretación textual en los estudiantes de quinto. De igual manera, se hizo uso de una secuencia didáctica que utilizaba la imagen como herramienta pedagógica para el desarrollo de destrezas superiores de comprensión e interpretación textual. Cabe resaltar, que la organización y tratamiento de datos se realizó de manera descriptiva, analítica e interpretativa donde se hizo uso de categorías y subcategorías apriorística y emergentes en algunos casos, para sistematizar la información. Posteriormente, se discutieron y triangularon los hallazgos, dando respuesta a la pregunta que originó esta investigación. Finalmente, este informe investigativo tiene como propósito incentivar la lectura crítica a través de la comprensión y la interpretación de textos no verbales: imágenes.
dc.description.abstractenglishThe research "The image as a pedagogical tool for the development of superior comprehension and interpretation skills in fifth grade students of an official educational institution of the municipality of Barrancabermeja" was carried out under the qualitative approach, its general objective was to determine how a tool The pedagogy that involves the image develops superior comprehension and interpretation skills in the fifth grade students of an official Educational Institution of the municipality of Barrancabermeja. In this way, an initial reading test and a final test were carried out; the application of semi-structured interviews to the teachers holding the course and non-participant observations that allowed us to disclose which strategies teachers used to develop comprehension and textual interpretation in fifth grade students. In the same way, a didactic sequence was used that used the image as a pedagogical tool for the development of superior comprehension skills and textual interpretation. It should be noted that the organization and treatment of data was carried out in a descriptive, analytical and interpretative manner where a priori and emerging categories and subcategories were used in some cases, to systematize the information. Subsequently, the findings were discussed and triangulated, answering the question that originated this investigation. Finally, this research report aims to encourage critical reading through the understanding and interpretation of nonverbal texts: images.
