dc.description.abstractLa organización colectiva constituye un escenario aparentemente vetado para las mujeres que ejercen la prostitución. Este imaginario tiene sustento principalmente en la apropiación social y cultural de significados preestablecidos por estructuras eminentemente patriarcales, donde la mujer dedicada a esta actividad construye una visión de sí misma matizada por el estigma. De esta manera el establecimiento de vínculos asociativos y colaborativos entre mujeres como fundamento para construir identidad colectiva, se ve condicionado por una dinámica altamente competitiva que impide su complicidad para articular acciones de futuro. Por esto, la presente investigación pretendió analizar los factores que inciden en la construcción de identidad y organización colectiva de mujeres en ejercicio de prostitución ubicadas en el parque Antonia Santos del municipio de Bucaramanga. Para este fin, el estudio comprendió un diseño de corte cualitativo, cimentado en el paradigma crítico social, metodológicamente orientado por el enfoque de investigación participativa (IP). En ese sentido, el proceso contempló la realización de actividades formativas que motivaron un dialogo constante entre las investigadoras y las MEP, siendo su participación una oportunidad para entender y reflexionar frente a dichas condiciones que las interpela. Para ello, se utilizaron diferentes técnicas de carácter participativo: la entrevista semi-estructura, un grupo focal, una cartografía social, una observación participante y finalmente, dos observaciones. Los resultados obtenidos fueron organizados de acuerdo a tres categorías de análisis: Factores externos (elementos del contexto), factores internos (identidad colectiva) y necesidades e intereses comunes para la acción. Con esta investigación se contribuye al esfuerzo por generar nuevos conocimientos desde la academia, frente al problema de la falta de organización e identidad colectiva en mujeres dedicadas a la prostitución. *
dc.description.abstractenglishCollective organization constitutes an apparently vetoed scenary for women who excercise prostitution. This imaginary has foundation mainly on cultural and social appropriation of pre-established meanings by eminent patriarchal structures, where the woman who excercises this activity constructs a vision of herself nuanced by stigma. In this way the establishment of collaborative and associative bonds among women as basis to construct collective identity appears conditioned by highly competitive dynamics that impedes their mutual understanding for organizing future actions. Therefore, this investigation pretented to analyze the factor which have an impact on identity construction and collective organization of women in exercise of prostitution located at Antonia Santos' park of Bucaramanga municipality. To this aim, the research comprised of a design of qualitative type, based on social critical paradigm, methodologically leaded by the participative investigation IP (PI; and IP in the Spanish acronym) focus. In that sense the process comtemplated the development of training activities that motivated a constant dialogue between researchers and WEP (MEP in the Spanish acronym), considering their participation an opportunity to understand and reflect on before certain conditions interpellating them. For this, different participative techniques were used: the semi-structure interview, a focal group, a social cartography, a participant observation, and finally two observations. The achieved results were organized according to three analyze categories: External factors (context elements), internal factors (collective identity) and common needs and interests for action. This investigation contributes to the effort for generating new concepts from academy in front of the problem of the lack of organization and collective identity among women in exercise of prostitution.
