dc.description.abstract	Este informe de investigación tiene como objetivo analizar los personajes principales, mujeres en todos los casos, que son configurados a partir del desarraigo y la soledad presentes en El sonido de las olas, al hacer énfasis en las formas narrativas de la literatura posmoderna. A partir de este objetivo se establece el desarrollo metodológico teniendo en cuenta que la investigación tiene un enfoque cualitativo e interdisciplinar. Por tanto, se llevaron a cabo varios métodos, como la creación de una matriz bibliográfica con el fin de rastrear las diferentes investigaciones y perspectivas relacionadas con la obra. Además, se generaron reseñas individuales para cada artículo encontrado, lo que permitió resumir su contenido y destacar sus aportes específicos. También, se aprovecharon diversas fuentes de información para explorar los antecedentes de la obra y elegir los marcos teóricos que respaldan el análisis de este trabajo. Por parte de los resultados, se dividen en tres argumentos: primero, mostrar que la narrativa y el estilo de la autora presentan características de la literatura posmoderna en función de una perspectiva no convencional. Segundo, proponer una lectura de la obra a partir del desarraigo presente en la construcción narrativa de los personajes femeninos. Tercero, analizar la soledad reflejada en la construcción y las relaciones interpersonales de las protagonistas. En síntesis, se destacan los hallazgos a partir del análisis, que van desde la crítica a la sociedad colombiana, hasta la necesidad de exaltar el “yo” que escudriña la individualidad no en función de las emociones sino en pro de reconocerse, de entender su ser, su identidad individual, no de conjunto.
dc.description.abstractenglish	The objective of this research report is to analyze the main characters, women in all cases, who are configured from the rootlessness and loneliness present in El sonido de las olas, emphasizing the narrative forms of postmodern literature. From this objective, the methodological development is established taking into account that the research has a qualitative and interdisciplinary approach. Therefore, several methods were carried out, such as the creation of a bibliographic matrix in order to trace the different researches and perspectives related to the work. In addition, individual reviews were generated for each article found, which made it possible to summarize its content and highlight its specific contributions. Various sources of information were also used to explore the background of the work and to select the theoretical frameworks that support the analysis of this work. On the part of the results, they are divided into three arguments: first, to show that the author's narrative and style present characteristics of postmodern literature in terms of a non-conventional perspective. Second, to propose a reading of the work based on the rootlessness present in the narrative construction of the female characters. Third, to analyze the loneliness reflected in the construction and interpersonal relationships of the protagonists. In synthesis, the findings from the analysis stand out, ranging from the criticism of Colombian society to the need to exalt the "I" that scrutinizes the individuality not in terms of emotions but in favor of recognizing itself, of understanding its being, its individual identity, not as a whole.
