dc.description.abstractEl presente proyecto tiene como objetivo establecer la diferencia entre los conceptos de violencia y poder en la obra filosófico-política de Hannah Arendt, filósofa política alemana de gran prestigio por su constante reflexión sobre el hombre y la sociedad. El estudio de la política para la autora en cuestión ha sido uno de sus puntos más fuertes, en especial, sobre cómo se establece la política en la comunidad. De manera similar, la autora plantea, en sus obras, diferentes características de la violencia y el poder, términos que constantemente han sido relacionados con la política. Se cree, entonces que, si hay política, hay poder, y el poder, por su parte, se manifiesta en la violencia. Por el contrario, Hannah Arendt considera que a través de la violencia no se llega al poder y cuando una persona o comunidad tiene poder, no ejercerá la violencia para mantenerlo. Asimismo, la autora da relevancia al vivir en comunidad, al reconocer la importancia del otro para trabajar mancomunadamente en la obtención de beneficios para todos. Por tanto, se pretende caracterizar los conceptos de violencia y de poder desde las obras tituladas La condición humana y Sobre violencia de Hannah Arendt y, a su vez, ofrecer una mirada conjunta de los términos, desde sus relaciones y oposiciones.
dc.description.abstractenglishThis project aims to establish the difference between the concepts of violence and power in Hannah Arendt’s philosophical-political work, she is a high-prestige German political theorist for her constant reflection on humanity and society. The study of the policy for the author in question has been one of her strongest points, especially on how politics is established in the community. Similarly, the author raises, in her works, characteristic differences in violence and power, terms that have consistently been related to politics. It is believed, then, that, if there is politics, there is power, and power, for its part, manifests itself in violence. On the contrary, Hannah Arendt considers that through violence there is no coming to power and when a person or community has power, will not exercise violence to maintain it. Likewise, the author gives relevance to living in community, recognizing the importance of the other to work together profit-making for all. It is therefore intended to characterize the concepts of violence and power from the works entitled The Human Condition and About Violence by Hannah Arendt and, in turn, offer a joint look at the terms, from their relationships and oppositions.
