dc.description.abstractEl presente informe tiene el objetivo de analizar las características de lo denominado género folletín a lo largo de los años, y la forma en la que es implementado y reinventado por Manuel Puig en su primera novela: La traición de Rita Hayworth. Por medio de este análisis se establece el orden de estudio para la metodología al tener en cuenta que el trabajo cuenta con un enfoque cualitativo e interdisciplinar. Por ello, se tuvo en cuenta una serie de artículos y bibliografía de autores acerca de esta primera obra y sobre la evolución y características del folletín. Asimismo, se implementaron distintas bases de datos para su utilización en la búsqueda de teóricos con los cuales explorar los elementos más relevantes de la novela. Respecto a los resultados se obtuvieron tres apartados, los cuales se dividen cada uno en dos capítulos. El primero consta de un estudio respecto a la estructura y rastreo del folletín dentro de la novela y el sentido del melodrama, tanto en las situaciones como en los diálogos de los personajes. El segundo se basa en la denuncia hacia el trato que existía sobre la mujer y la imposición en la Iglesia, esto por medio de tres voces femeninas significativas en la trama. Por último, el tercer capítulo se concentra en la representación de lo llamado marginal desde la voz del protagonista y el propio autor. En conclusión, se busca debatir el concepto negativo que se halla al referirse a lo folletinesco en la obra de Manuel Puig, para demostrar así cómo este crea un nuevo concepto de lo conocido sobre este género literario.
dc.description.abstractenglishThe present report has the objective of analyzing the characteristics of what is called the folletín genre through the years, and the way in which it is implemented and reinvented by Manuel Puig in his first novel: La traición de Rita Hayworth. By means of this analysis, the order of study for the methodology is established, considering that the work has a qualitative and interdisciplinary approach. For this reason, a series of articles and bibliography of authors about this first work, and about the evolution and characteristics of the novel, were taken into account. Likewise, different databases were implemented to be used in the search for theorists with whom to explore the most relevant elements of the novel. With respect to the results, three sections were obtained, each of which is divided into two chapters. The first one consists of a study on the structure and tracing of the folletín within the novel and the sense of melodrama both in the situations and in the dialogues of the characters. The second is based on the denunciation of the treatment of women and the imposition of the church, through three relevant female voices in the plot. Finally, the third chapter focuses on the representation of the so-called marginal from the voice of the protagonist and the author himself. In conclusion, it seeks to discuss the negative concept that is found when referring to the folletinesco in the work of Manuel Puig, to demonstrate how he creates a new concept of what is known about this literary genre.
